Some Logical Reasoning

Ed and Alphonse were sitting by the river's edge one Spring afternoon. Ed was 7, Al was 6. Al decided to ask Ed a question.

"Brother?"

"Yea, Al?"

"Why is the sky blue?" Ed lowered his head, quite puzzled. He didn't know the answer to that one. He lifted up his head and turned it towards Alphonse.

"I dunno, Al. Must be 'cause of the ocean or something."

Al still had a lot of questions, so he asked him another one.

"Ed, where did we come from?" Ed, trying to look smart for his younger brother, opened his mouth and said:

"Well it all has to do Alchemy. Not surprising, huh? First, you take 35 liters of water, 20 kilograms of water, 4 liters of Ammonia, 1.5 kilograms of Lime, 800 grams of Phosphorous, 250 grams of Salt, 100 grams of Saltpeter, 80 grams of Sulfur, 7.5 grams of Fluorine, 5 of Iron, 3 of Silicon, and trace amounts of 15 other elements. The mom has to stir them all up in a bowl just right. Then you add a little flavoring, chug it down and 9 months later, VOILA! You got yourself a baby!"

"Really, brother? THAT'S SO COOL!" Ed crossed his arms and gave Al a big smirk. But Al had one final question:

"Hey, Ed?"

"Yea, what is it this time? Need me to tell you about the beginning of the universe? Or, maybe if a tree falls in a forest and no one's around, does it make a sound? Come on, I'm ready for it!" He gave a huge smile.

"Brother, why are we the same height when you're a year older than I am?"

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL THAT YOU COULDN'T SEE WIHTOUT AN ELECTRON MICROSCOPE!?"

Alphonse dashed for home, followed by one angry Ed.
