Beloved Sapphire
Shadow of a dream
Blue sky, vivid ocean stream
One look of a visage chasing me
A girl, my age, with a smile bright and feelings deep
A plead, heart rend
Crying "I want to be friends"
One look of a mirage Heaven sent
An angel, timeless beauty, and a soul of an innocent
Midst a world shaken
Gentle touch, my hand was taken
One look of a savior, purehearted maiden
Through the radiant love, vivid, illuminating
One heart did awaken
Longing, yearning, endless waiting
One look of a record brought joy, elating
a heart that had only felt laden
Passing years
Shared secrets, traded letters, wiped tears
One look to my side, refound fears
Whispered confessions, afraid that someone hears
Anxious feels
Pained by the touch that heals
One look of a friend, and my eyes revealed
Secret feelings I swore to keep hidden, sealed
Warmth, hand in mine
Shaking voice "we are the same, you and I"
One look of a love shared, a flame come alight
Unfolding emotions only nourished inside
A girl lost in deep blue sky
One look at dear beloved sapphire
brought fire that will surely last for a life
