A few years have passed,Squall and Rinoa are now husband and wife. Squall Jr is now Squall's age when he was just starting on his adventures as a Seed. Squall Sr is now the headmaster of Balamb Garden. After the time compression had run it's course,Headmaster Cid passed away and Edea disappeared.

After Ultimecia was defeated, the Gardens were restored to their original states and the sixteen Gfs dispersed to various hiding places waiting once again to be released.
