I'm Trying to Upgrade the Shell Cells
I was in my lab working on my brothers' Shell Cells plus my own. When I told them earlier that I was planning to upgrade them, surprisingly, they handed their Shell Cells over to me.
I was in the middle of an upgrade when Mikey came into the room. He was carrying a toaster.
"Donny, could you fix this, please?" Mikey begged.
"Sure, Mikey," I replied.
Mikey put the toaster on the desk. Then he threw his arms around me and ran out of the lab.
I got to work on the toaster and got it done in twenty minutes. I left the lab with the toaster and put it in the kitchen next to the microwave.
I was on my way back to the lab when I came across Raph. He put an MP3 player in my hands.
"I need that MP3 player fixed so I can listen to my music," Raph said.
I nodded and headed for the lab with the MP3 player. On the way there, I heard Mikey laughing and playing with his kitten Klunk.
I got to work on the MP3 player and fixed it in ten minutes. Raph came in, saw that it was done, and grabbed the player off my desk.
"Raph, I could've handed it to you," I said.
"Whatever," Raph said and then left the lab.
I went back to upgrading the Shell Cells when I heard a knock. I turned to find Leo standing in the doorway.
"Donny, how are the upgrades coming along?" Leo asked.
"I've barely had a chance to do them," I said with frustration. "I've had to fix the toaster and Raph's MP3 player."
"I'll talk to Mikey and Raph and get them to leave you in peace until the upgrades are complete."
"Thanks, Leo."
Leo nodded and ducked out of the lab. I went back to the upgrades.
Later that day, I got the upgrades done. I gathered up the Shell Cells, left the lab, and found my brothers sitting on the sofa.
"I've finished the upgrades," I announced and handed the Shell Cells out.
All of us opened our Shell Cells. I pressed a button for each of my brothers on my Shell Cell and all of their Shell Cells rang.
"What's this?" Raph demanded.
"It's conference calling which means we can all be on the Shell Cell at once," I explained.
"Cool!" Mikey exclaimed.
"It'll really come in handy," Leo said.
We turned off our Shell Cells, closed them, and put them in our belts. Then I joined my brothers on the couch and we talked for quite a while.
The End
