He gasped for breath helplessly……
The pain was becoming too much to bear……
He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small pink cap. Despite all of the intensifying pain shooting through his veins, he managed to let a smile creep onto the side of his face.
"Such wonderful memories this tiny cap had brought…" He thought to himself.
The searing pain in his side snapped him out of his stupor. The warm sticky remains of fresh blood trailed down his battle-scarred arms.
"Timmy….Timmy….TIMMY!" he heard a voice call to him.
He looked up to see a blurred figure a few feet away from him. He couldn't make out the face very well, but he knew full well who it was. He could recognize that high-pitched voice anywhere.
"Cosmo, don't… Come any closer!!" Timmy bellowed through coughs of blood.
He couldn't possibly stand in his current state, but he wasn't going to risk anyone else getting hurt…Not again.
"Where's Wanda!?"
"I'm right here sweetie! Cosmo and I are right here!" Came a shrill woman's voice.
Timmy smiled…He could tell she was desperately trying to choke back her tears. Even at this very moment, she wouldn't show how scared she was. That is what Timmy admired most about Wanda, her ability to be so strong in such a dire situation. He also admired Cosmo as well; he was the kindest person Timmy had ever met, even if he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Bright lights flashed over head.
Timmy's vision was almost completely gone, but he could feel the rush of spells being shot back and forth around him.
"…Magic." He breathed softly.
Magic, the thing that had caused all of this, and the substance that was responsible for all of the suffering so many people had to go through. He wanted no more to do with it.
In a final flash of bright lights, Timmy's body faded completely into the void…
