Chapter 1
Why me?
Laney's POV
"WHY ME! What did I do to deserve this!" I was yelling while pacing back and forth, back and forth. "Guys, really. What did I do to deserve this! I've been really nice to Trina, right?"Corey, Kin, and Kon said "Yes, Laney." in a bored manner. "And I've gotten all A's in my classes at school! I Believe I'm correct?" The boys replied "yes, Laney". Then Corey stood up, and walked over to me, and put his hands on my shoulder to keep me still. "Lanes, I know it is wired. But you don't need to talk off Kin's, Kon's and my ears, and has she been bugging you?" Corey said raising an eyebrow. "Well, no she has been bugging me" I said under my breath.
"But, she looks almost the same girl as me, she is the same height as me, she likes to play base like me, she has the same color hair. But it looks like she dyes it a brownish color and I'm guessing the person that dye her hair, messed up the dyeing job, instead of dyeing the hold head of hair brown, they only dye the top of the hair brown, and they left the bottom of her hair the original color. oh, and she has the same boots as me, a-and her eyes, their two different color! ONE IS BLEEPING BLUE AND THERE OTHER ONE IS BROWN! I DON'T THINK THAT'S NORMAL! And then she has cat ears" I started to yelling again. Corey placed his finger over my lips to shut me up, and I quickly shuttled up. Then Corey said "well, she could of put in contacts that are two different colors, and the cat ears are a part of a headset." Corey said to calm me down.
No one's POV
Laney had been surprised to wake up to the sound of shouting moving man, moving box and the sound of the beep, beep, beep of moving tracks backing up in the driveway next door. And then Laney saw Laora. Well the back of her, when she was walking into the house next door. But later that day Laney had a face to face encounter. Laney was walking down the sidewalk to Corey's places when Laora a pearled out of thin air, and walked right into Laney. That's when Laney got a good look at Laora's face other than the two different colors eyes she looked all most the same as Laney.
Laora's POV
"Get off me" the strange girl said
"I'm so sorry. I didn't see you coming." I said to the strange girl. "My name is Laora? What is your name" I ask the strange girls and got off of her. But all she did was turn around and walk away with telling me her name. "Ok? That was weird." I said to myself.
Corey's POV
After Laney stop talking, we herd a loud knock at the garage door. I pushed the garbage door open. Then I almost fell backwards, I thought it was Laney in the driveway. But Lanes was on the couch. "H-h-hel-hello, how c-can I-I help y-y-you?" I sundered to the girl. "Yes you can help me. Do you know a Laney penn? Her mom told me I could find her here. This morning I ran in to her latterly, I ran right in to her and I feel, I didn't fully apologize for running in to her." The girl said quietly. Laney started to say "oh, no, no no no no no. I'm not talking to that thing." Laney can be a little bit roughed. "Sorry about Lanes. Would you like to come in?" I ask the girl. "Sure." She said, before she walked in. " I'm guessing Laney is have this reaction to me because of my eyes." She said. "Well, yeah Lanes has never seen someone that has two different colored eyes, and we all are wondering how did your eyes become two different colors, and what is your name?" I asked the girl. But before she could reply Laney said " her name is Laora"
Laora's POV
"Well, the reason why my eyes are two different colors it's a birth defect, where one eye produces the normal amount of this canal that controls color, so that cosset one eye to be brown and my other eye doesn't really produces that much of the canal, and that results in one eye being blue. But I'm a pretty nice girl." I said to the group. One of the boys standing nearest to me, placed his hand on my shoulder. "Well, Laora we've got to say your eyes are pretty cool, and my name is Corey, and his's Kon." Pointing at tall, black hair boy. "And that's Kin." Corey said and pointing at a short, black hair boy. "We've twins" Kin, Kon said at the same time. "Sure." I giggled.
Laney's POV
My face turned bright red. "You, you. YOU HAVE THE NERVES TO CAN TO SAY SORRY!" I yelled. "Well, I really did came to apolog- " she was saying, but I wasn't done. "YOU TRYING TO COPYCAT ME YOU HAVE RED HAIR BYE OR NOT, AND YOU PLAY BASE LIKE ME, YOUR THE SAME HIGHT! ALL YOUR DOING IS COPYING ME! SO YOU GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!" I yelled, pointing at the garage door. "But, I really came to apologize" she said, starting to cry. "GET OUT!" I yelled. Then Laora ran out of the garage, cry. " Laney why did you do that for!?" Corey yelled. "Your welcome." I said. "What for! You just yelled out a nice girl! She could of be a friend!" Core yelling. "I got rid of a bad seed. She would just get in the way." I said calmly. "I can't stand you. Kin, Kon you guys can go home, and you Laney you think about what you just did and said. I'm going to go find Laora." Core said walking out of the garage.

Oh, my, gosh! What's up was Laney. Why is Laney acting like that to Laora. Thanks for reading I'll have chapter 2 in a while and I've finished chapter 2 of the mystery of the black cat and should be uploaded in 2-5 days.
