Title: The girl who couldnt sleep

8 year old Lucy Pevensie couldnt sleep. It was raining outside and there was thunder. Lucy was scared of thunder. It was very dark and Susan, her big sister was snoring so loud. Lucy got up from her bed and tried to shake Susan up. But Susan didnt budge. So Lucy pulled Susans blankets, since it was a little chilly that night. As soon as Lucy pulled Susans blankets off, Susan pulled it back. Lucy gave up trying to wake Susan up.

Lucy walked out of her room to her brothers room, Peter Pevensie and Edmund Pevensie. She walked towards Edmund and she heard him saying," Turkish delight. I want some Turkish Delight." Lucy giggled. Edmund was talking in his sleep.

"Edmund! Edmund!" Lucy wispered shaking Edmund. But nothing happened. Suddenly Lucy heard some noise. She heard someone saying," Lucy. Lucy. Is that you?" Lucy reconized that the voice belonged to her big brother, Peter.

"Peter! I cant sleep!" Lucy said running towards Peter. Then a loud thunder was heard.

"Lucy, is it because of the thunder?" Peter asked.

"Yes! "Lucy said. Then Peter shook his head slowly laughing.

"Lucy, remember what mum said? Its just noise. Thunders not going to hurt you. Try to go back to sleep"Peter explained.

"Okay. But its so dark in my room."Lucy complained.

"Lucy! How about if i light a candle and put it in your room? Would that help?"Peter suggested. Lucy shook her head. But then stopped.

"But Peter, Susan snores so loud!"Lucy said.

"Oh fine! Why dont you sleep in my bed and I'll sleep in yours?" Peter said.

"Okay. Goodnight Peter." Lucy said as Peter tucked Lucy in his bed. Then he lit a candle and put it on the table in his room. He walked into Lucys room and got onto her bed.

"Ughh! Lucys bed is so small! And these sheets are scratchy! And Lucy was right, Susan does snore loud!" Peter said to himself. No matter what Peter did, he couldnt sleep. And for one hour Peter still couldnt sleep. So he went into his room and layed a blanket on the floor. He slept on the floor for the rest of the night.

This was just a one shot i wrote. I was bored so i typed it up. To me, i think this story wasnt really good. But this do happen to me at night sometimes. Lightning, my sister snoring and the darkness... Thnx 4 viewing
