An Unhappy Marriage
Chapter 1
Quinn's Point Of View
I can't believe that I am going to get married today! I thought happily in my head. Terri stood behind me, tying the back of my dress up. In ten minutes I was going to walk through those big wooden doors at the front of the church and walk down the aisle with Beth walking behind in the pink dress she is presently wearing. Beth only turned six about two months ago and she is just about to go on her first day of Primary School soon. I glanced down at my dress and sighed with happiness. The dress was just as I imagined as I was a little girl that dreams of how her wedding would be.
Well, my day has finally come. Today I was getting married to Sam. The dress was fully white and it reached the floor, and it was sleeveless. The chest part hugged me tightly so it wouldn't fall down on me. "Turn around Quinn," Terri ordered me and I did as she said. She pulled my hair back and put it on top of my head, forming a bun. She tied it up with a hair band and she got hair clips which kept my hair in place.
Beth tugged on the skirt of my dress, when I looked down at her she reached her arms out to me, begging me to lift her up. I bent down and lifted my child up and rocked her in my arms. "You look beautiful Beth." I said admiring her blonde curls which matched my blonde curls. "You do too, mummy." She said staring and the sequins that were on the dress. "Quinn, it is time." Terri informed, I put Beth down and walked with her holding my hand. We walked from my dressing room to the front of the church where Rachel, Santana and Brittany were in their pink dresses, and Santana gave Beth her small bunch of flowers and they watched me as I walked over to them.
Rachel was the first to speak, "Quinn, you look stunning." She said, breathless.
"I absolutely love that dress Quinn," Brittany complimented.
"Wow, I can't wait to get married," Santana stated, literally staring at the dress.
"Thank you, this really means a lot to me." I said as they trapped me in a group hug. Terri cleared her throat which caught all of our attention. She pushed the doors open and walked down the aisle, being followed by Rachel, and then Santana and Brittany. The piano started to play and I knew that it was my turn to walk down the aisle, I signaled Beth to walk before me and as she did so, I followed after her.
She threw flowers left to right, and I just smiled to my guests, I saw Puck there death staring me, I quickly changed my glace over to Sam, he waited there in a tuxedo with his hands clenched tightly together. I could see in his eyes that he was getting impatient so I quickened my pace, almost tripping Beth over in the process.
Beth continued throwing flowers across the aisle and I still followed. I looked around and saw that I was only half way down the aisle and a thought this is one damn long aisle! I thought angrily, as I continued to walk down it.
Eventually I finally reached the end of it and Beth walked over to where the girls were standing, and I walked to the priest and Sam, and as I walked up the small stairs he held his hand out towards me, which I took gratefully and stood hand in hand with Sam waiting for the priest to start saying the wedding vowels.
