Prologue
The time period is a lot later in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and Peach are married, along with Daisy and Luigi. Both couples now have babies. Bowser has given up on kidnapping Peach, due to old age. The first three oldest Koopalings are old enough to move out, but they're staying with their royal family.
Bowser Jr. is now about 17 years old at this point in time, taking over the thrown. But that isn't his main focus. He's on the road to the Striker Cup, with a few other sports to take over on the side. Wanting to be the best of the best takes dedication and hard work. Little does he know about his new rival in the Kingdom, and all the things that can happen because of the feelings he'll get.
Our story begins with Bowser Jr. on the hunt for his perfect teammates for the Strikers league. Toads are heard to be on the teams of many Strikers champions, most coming from Mushroom village. Hearing this, Bowser Jr. makes his way to the village.
Chapter 1
Toadette and Toad were in their backyard with their son, Toad Lee, kicking a ball around. The sun was shining down on them, and the air was a mere 60 degrees. Toad was teaching his son to be Strikers champion material, since he was one of the best in the village. Toadette walked inside to begin preparing lemonade for the two boys.
Bowser Jr. was out walking around the village in search for the perfect sidekick for his team. Some people of the village ran away, in fear of getting robbed. Bowser Jr. was fuming with anger from this. He stopped in the center of the village, and took a deep breath.
"I'M NOT HERE TO CAUSE TROUBLE! I HAVE A GOOD SIDE YA KNOW!" he yelled. Everyone stopped and stared at him. The mayor, seeming skeptical of the situation, waddled over to him.
"Then Mr. Bowser Jr., why are you here?" he asked calmly.
"I'm looking for a perfect teammate for my Strikers team, is that so hard?!" he exclaimed while getting worked up.
"Strikers eh? I have the perfect Toad in mind for you!" he turned to his assistant, a female Toad. "Could you please escort him to Sir Toad's house, please?" he asked her.
"As you wish, Sir," she bowed and turned to Bowser Jr. and nodded, signaling him to follow her.
He better be good, and not fooling around with me. He thought. They all know the chaos I can cause here! They arrived at the house, and the purple female Toad knocked on their door. Toadette answered.
"Yes?" she asked then seen Bowser Jr. and jumped back. The purple Toad stepped forward.
"He does not mean any harm, Toadette. He's actually here to speak with Toad," she explained.
"Um, okay," she walked away. Bowser Jr. stood and waited surprisingly patiently. He was about to meet his possible future teammate, the person that could help carry him to championship.
