A Yusuke Cam Special: New Years

It was New Year's Eve and Yusuke decided it was time he would start playing his old pranks again.

Everyone had gathered at Genkai's Temple as usual. Tables were set up neatly by Kurama and Botan and had all types of foods spread out.

Kurama smiled to himself, "Botan, we've done quite a wonderful job." Botan nodded in agreement. Kuwabara was sitting down next to Yukina trying hit on her. Hiei and Genkai were in an intense conversation about weapons.

A "Happy New Year's" banner hung outside of the great temple door which was set up by Kuwabara and Hiei earlier in the day. "Kurama!" Keiko tapped the red head on the shoulder.

"Yes, Keiko?" he turned around to face her, "Have you seen Yusuke anywhere?" Kurama shook his head. "Hey, Keiko I think I remember seeing him in the kitchen…with a camera. I think he's gonna be prankin' us all…I mean it is around that time of the year." Kuwabara said bluntly.

Kurama's expression turned grim as he remember what happen those dread full seven days before Christmas. Hiei turned his head, "That idiot is up to pranking again?" Kuwabara nodded, "Yep."

Keiko made her way over to the kitchen as the others continued to talk. As soon as she opened the door she screamed. Kurama came swinging around the corner with Hiei and the other behind him, "What the…!"

There before them stood an extremely soaked and pissed off Keiko, and a snoring Yusuke, "YUSUKE! YOU JERK!" Keiko grabbed the nearest thing and bashed the sleeping teen over the head causing him to wake up abruptly.

"WHAT THE HELL KEIKO! What was that for?" Yusuke winced and rubbed his now soar head. He looked around for a bit and then looked down, "Oh…uhh Keiko this isn't what you think it is I swear!"

Keiko turned her heels sharply and walked away, but was stopped when the begging boy grabbed her ankle, "Please Keiko, forgive me! I didn't mean for you to run into the trap…"

Keiko looked at him with a blank expression and then stooped down and plucked his nose, "You're such a jerk Yusuke…but I guess I'll forgive you this time…only on one condition."

Kurama smiled at them and turned around motioning the others to leave the two be. Yusuke excitedly smiled, "What's the condition?"

She stood up with hand in hand with Yusuke, "Stop your stupid pranks. Or at least don't do them when I'm around please…" Yusuke pouted, "Fine…" he began mumbling under his breath and Keiko gave him a quick kiss on the cheek much to his surprise.

They both smiled at each other, "Hey guys! There are fireworks going off! Come on, you don't wanna miss it do you?" Botan said jumping up and down excitedly. Yusuke picked Keiko up bridle style, "Not for the world Botan…"

Keiko smiled at him and Yusuke holding Keiko followed Botan to the front of the Temple. Yukina was holding on to Kuwabara's arm pointing to the fireworks, "Aren't the pretty Kazuma?" Kuwabara grinned, "Not as pretty as you are my love."

Hiei and Kurama were sitting in the tree talking to each other while looking at the fireworks. Shizuru and Genkai were under the tree smoking and laughing about something.

"Aren't they amazing Yusuke?" Botan asked. Yusuke smiled, "Not as amazing as the one I love." Keiko smiled and snuggled closer to him watching the fireworks.

~~Okay, the New Year's Eve special I promised is now finished. Very short, I know. And I apologize if you were all expecting a lot. But I do hope you enjoyed it.
