A brown-haired girl was sitting in her bedroom, on her bed, typing up a report. From the look on her face, it was obvious she would rather be doing something else. As she typed and typed and typed some more, she got distracted. She opened a different program.

This girl was Allison Brown, the daughter of the president of an important hotel chain. The program she opened was the VOCALOID2 Len Kagamine. She typed in the lyrics to a song in romaji.

"Ochitsu ka nakerya nani mo hajimaranai" sang the computer.
"Perfect."
OK, so the song already existed. And Len Kagamine was the original singer. Maybe she just wanted to show off her skills!
"Ally! You better not be slacking off! Your teacher complains about your schoolwork enough as it is!" her mom shouted.
"I really don't want to do this..." Ally mumbled. After thinking for a minute, she typed some more.
"It's 11 o'clock at night! Can I go to bed now?" she yelled.

"Go ahead, but after breakfast tomorrow, GO RIGHT TO THE REPORT!" her mother yelled.
"Okay!" she screamed back. She put the laptop on her nightstand, threw the covers over herself, and went to bed.
As the otaku slept, a bunch of people with strange hair colors and hair styles climbed out. One of them, with teal hair in pigtails, tapped Olivia to try to wake her up.

"Morning al-OH MY GOD YOU'RE HATSUNE MIKU!" Olivia said, quietly at first, then loudly.
((Ochitsu ka nakerya nani mo hajimaranai is the opening line to Hot Cocoa, a restless night's song, a song by Len Kagamine.
