Knock Knock
By DeweyFinn21
Disclaimer: I don't own iCarly. This is purely for fun. Author's Note: I don't know where this idea came from, but here it is.
Freddie Benson was awoken at 3 a.m. by a knock on his door. He didn't know who it could be when both Sam and Carly had left him in Seattle.
"Who is it?" Freddie asked.
"Me." Came the reply. That voice sounded familiar, but it couldn't be?
"What are you doing here?" Freddie asked.
"Um, well, you see, I c-came here t-to tell y-you that I-I love you." The person told him.
"What?" Freddie asked.
"I love you." They repeated.
"Is that the only reason you came back? To tell me this?" Freddie asked.
"No."
"Oh?" Freddie said, interested.
"I came back to be with you."
"Really? But what about the-" Freddie was interrupted.
"I explained everything. This was what they told me to do."
"Why did you wait until now to talk to me?" Freddie asked.
"I just got back." She explained.
"So?" Freddie asked.
"So, are you going to let me in?"
"I don't know." Freddie said honestly.
"Oh." They said depressed.
"I-I want to, but I'm not sure if it's right or not."
"Please." They said.
"Um, I wish that this was easier." Freddie told her.
"Me too."
"I-I." Freddie paused, unable to speak anymore.
"Even if you don't let me in, could you open the door?" She asked.
Freddie reached for the doorknob, but as soon as he touched it, he paused. Could he bear to see her again?
"Freddie, if this was just a waste of time, then please tell me." She begged.
Freddie remained silent, not knowing what to do.
"Freddie? Are you still there?" She asked.
"Yeah." Freddie told her, his voice barely being heard. He swallowed. What was he going to do?
"Freddie, I'm leaving." She told him heartbroken. Freddie turned the doorknob.
"Wait." Freddie said opening the door. "I love you too."
"Really?" She asked.
"Yes. I will always love you. Would you like to come in?" Freddie asked her.
"I'd love that. Does your mom care if I sleep in your bed?"
"With me? Probably." Freddie told her.
"I'll sleep on the couch." She said. "Good night, Freddie."
"Good night, Carly."
So, did you like it? I hope you did. Sorry it's short. My keyboard broke, so I'm using the onscreen keyboard until it gets fixed. So, anyways, review, please.
