Zelos sat at his grand piano late on night, thinking of a particular summoner. He began to remember the party they had both attended not much earlier, and he remembered how beautiful she looked.

and the feeling that i'm falling further in love
makes me shiver but in a good way

Before he struck the keys on his cherished piano, he noticed his hands were shaking.

She didn't notice, but he watched her nearly constantly during their "journey of regeneration". He was thankful, because that peobably would have earned him a smack… or two… or several…

and she purses her lips, bats her eyes as she plays,
with me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say

Few times he was silent, but tonight when she entered the ball room in that beautiful dress that Collette had helped her pick out, he was speechless. She had immediately noticed and started fiddling with her hair, which was down for once, and frowning. Then she asked why I wasn't with my 'hunnies'. The truth is…

I hear footsteps behind me, and I know who else is up at this hour. And who stayed at my house for the night, what with the inns full and all.

it's a masterful melody when she calls out my name to me
as the world spins around her she laughs, rolls her eyes

"Zelos?"

I hear her call my name. I stop playing and turn to face her.

"Don't stop playing. It was lovely… I didn't realize you could play so well…"

And so I begin to play again, a more upbeat melody this time. It's perfect for dancing, and I notice Sheena has started to dance.

"I didn't realize you could dance so well, Sheena" I say. She laughs, and simply rolls her eyes.

"Can you sing?" Sheena asks.

"Sure," I reply, even though I'm nervous.
