MAN IN THE MIRROR

Dean leaned over the sink, stared into the mirror, searching desperately for any shimmer of black marring the green. Searching much like he'd once caught Sam doing for a shimmer of blue after Gadreel. He'd scoffed at his brother then. Made some snide comment before resuming his quest for another bottle of whiskey.
But he understood it now. Understood the curiosity, the horror, the fear. He looked one more time, biting back a gasp when he saw the faintest flash, a glimmer-not of black but of white. Surely a trick of the incandescent bulb flickering overhead.
Right?
