Stevie and Zander didn't really know the meaning of 'personal space.' It was a boundary they always ignored when around each other, as if it were natural to them to always be touching. An elbow would always be propped up on a shoulder, a leg intertwined with another, and a head resting on the other person. It was no surprise when Gravity 5 went to a baseball game that they would be sharing the same bubble space, that if anyone else tried to get in it would be too cramped. No one even second glanced their behavior. It was just as natural to them to see the two ignoring each other's space.
"One, two, three, four I declare a thumb war!" They said playing best five out of nine because they are both sore losers and prideful winners. Although a person only has to be about arms length away from you to play a thumb war, Zander and Stevie were only several inches apart. Their minds were fully engulfed in the game that they didn't pay attention to any of their surroundings.
"GUYS!" Kacey yelled, "You're on the big screen!" Sure enough, they were. Not only were they on the Jumbo Screen, but the border read 'Kiss Cam.'
"We're not dating!" Stevie yelled to the crowed. They booed her one person threw lettuce. "Who brings loose lettuce to a baseball game?" She yelled pealing the piece of salad off her shirt.
The audience continued to boo and chanted, "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Even the players joined in.
"Fine!" Zander yelled and kissed Stevie… On the cheek. That made the crowed crazy.
One loud baseball fan shouted, "Give her a real kiss!"
"UGH!" Stevie moaned and kissed Zander, full on the mouth, after caving in to the pressure from the crowd. After she pulled away she whispered in Zander's ear, "Smile for the camera." They both pretended to look at each other lovingly and once they were off the Jumbo screen continued their rematch.
"What. Was. That?" Kevin asked them, causing the couple to turn and realize that their friends had been staring at them with their jaws dropped for about five minutes.
"That was peer pressure." Stevie stated.
"Cause. Effect. Boom." Zander 'elaborated' and then fist-bumped Stevie. They had a unique relationship that didn't become something until later in their lives. They were just so natural with each other and so comfortable they didn't even realize they made the perfect pair. After denying their feelings for so long, their first real date was at another baseball game. Baseball became their thing. All (well most wink wink) of their big firsts were shown on the Kiss Cam. Their first kiss, every anniversary kiss since they have been dating, his proposal to her, baby's first baseball game, and many, many more.
Cause. Effect. Boom.
