Jotaro had awakened on the beach of an unknown town. His surrondings were unfamilar, and suspected this was the doing of a stand user. "Where...the hell am I?" Jotaro asked to himself. He stood up, then absorbed the sights. "This town is a town I've not seen before." said Jotaro, to himself. He started to walk towards that mysterious town.
Jotaro saw that the town was lively, with many people walking past him. He sat down on a bench, looking at the bright blue ocean infront of him. "Why am I here?" Jotaro asked to himself. "Last thing I remember was..." He paused. Jotaro couldn't think of the last thing he'd done. He froze. "Why can't I remember the last thing I did!?" yelled Jotaro. People passing by started at him, like he was some sort of freak. A familar kid walked up to Jotaro, going to comfort him. The kid sat down on the same bench as Jotaro, then tried to make friendly conversation. "So uhh, you're new in town?" asked the kid. "Listen kid, unless you can help me figure out why I'm here, get out of my way." replied Jotaro, with an angry face. The kid's face turned sour. "Why are you so angry?" asked the kid. "Listen, I woke up here without any explanation, so I'm on edge right now." replied Jotaro. "Well I can help you with that, my name's Steven!" exclaimed Steven. Jotaro laughed. "How are you going to help me, play detective?!" exclaimed Jotaro while laughing. "I can show you my battle skills..." muttered Steven. "Ok, you want a mock battle?" asked Jotaro. Steven's eyes lightened up. "Yes please!" yelled Steven. They then moved to the beach for a fair fight.
Steven was in position, ready to beat Jotaro. "Listen kid, you sure you want to do this?" asked Jotaro. "Sure, what's the worst that could happen?" replied Steven, happily. "Also, please don't hold back." Jotaro froze at this. "Sure." replied Jotaro. "3...2...1!" yelled Steven. Steven ran at Jotaro with a fist ready, but suddenly he disappered. "Huh? said Steven. "Behind you." replied Jotaro. Steven tried to throw a punch again, but Jotaro had used the same technique. "It's impossible to beat me, just stop." said Jotaro. Steven was perplexed, he was impossible to hit. "Now time to end this! Star Platinum: The World!". Jotaro had froze time again. He had hit Steven once with Star Platinum, hoping to end the fight. When time continued, Steven had flew back 10 feet. When he got back up, he saw that Jotaro had his backed turned to him. Steven readied his shield then threw it at Jotaro's back. Suddenly, Jotaro fell backwards due to the shield. Steven grinned. "You think you can stop me this easily?" taunted Steven. Jotaro started to run towards Steven to give him a quick blow to the chest with Star Platinum. As soon as Jotaro made contact, Steven used his bubble to prevent him from getting hit. This is when the gems had noticed the fight between the two.
Steven laughed, since Jotaro hadn't noticed the gems swiftly approaching. "What's so funny?" asked Jotaro. Steven just continued laughing. Jotaro then was punched in the back by Garnet, flying through a building. "Damn, I didn't see that one coming!" Jotaro thought to himself. The commotion garnered attention from the towns people, drawing people out to watch. The towns people saw Jotaro in the debris of the building, with blood coming out of his mouth. They were disgusted at the gems. One of them yelled "Why would you do this to an innocent?!". Jotaro then stood back up. "Goddamnit, what are those powers?" Jotaro said to himself. Suddenly, Pearl sprung at Jotaro with her spear. Jotaro froze time with a split second from the blade. He then hit her with Star Platinum with all of his might. "Time will continue". Time unfroze. Pearl then fell to the ground, then she poofed. "That's one down, two more to go." Jotaro said to himself. "Impossible, he took down Pearl!" yelled Steven. "What is he doing, he's impossible to read even with my future vision!" yelled Garnet. "Ugh, who cares, let's just take him down already!" yelled Amethyst. Amethyst ran at Jotaro with her whip in hand. When she got close enough to attack, she flung her whip at Jotaro but he caught it with Star Platinum. To the gems, it looked like it was floating in mid-air. Jotaro stood there, unfazed by her attack. "What the hell is going on?!" screamed Amethyst, in dismay. Star Platinum hit the whip back at her, then caught her in mid air. "ORA!". One strike was enough to poof Amethyst.
Garnet stood there, in shock. "Never have I seen Amethyst and Pearl be taken down within 5 minutes, especially by a human!". Steven looked at her, with a scared expression on his face. "Garnet, do you think..." Steven was cut off by Garnet. "No, he won't poof me." Steven looked back at Jotaro, with a smug expression. Garnet lunged at Jotaro. "Star Platinum: The World!". Time froze within in the blink of an eye. "Hmph, pathetic." whispered Jotaro. Jotaro then hit Garnet in head. Time resumed, but Garnet did not get hit by the attack. "How the hell did she dodge that attack?!" yelled Jotaro, confused. "I can see everything what you do, nothing can hide from me!" screamed Garnet, with a gloating expression. "I'll wipe that smile off your face!" screamed Jotaro back. Jotaro and Garnet started to run at each other. "Star Platinum!". Jotaro went in enough to get a hit on Garnet, but she blocked the attack. Jotaro took a deep breath. "No-one who's not a stand user has dodged Star Platinum before, but you're different. Sadly, it's about time that you lost!" yelled Jotaro. Suddenly, another fist flew at Garnet, but she blocked that one as well. "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!" yelled Star Platinum, as Jotaro tried to rush Garnet with her fists that were matching the speed of Star Platinum. "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!". Garnet was not getting tired from the relentless barrage from Star Platinum. "Star Platinum: The World!". Jotaro froze time once again. "I didn't want to stop time on you, but here we are. I was already in shitty mood but you made that worse. I don't like people like you, so it's about high time you got out of my face!" yelled Jotaro in stopped time. "OOOOOOORA!". Star Platinum gave a punch that could cause earthquakes. Jotaro then unfroze time. Garnet then poofed. "Yare yare daze." said Jotaro.
Steven fell back in shock. "How did this happen, how did you poof Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst?!". Jotaro turned back to Steven, then started walking towards him. He showed Steven Ruby's gem. "Kid, are they going to be alright?" asked Jotaro in a calm manner. "I, uh, um..." muttered Steven. "Answer me damn it, are they going to be fine or not?!" yelled Jotaro, going from calm to angry. "Yes! Please don't hurt me!" screamed Steven, with tears in his eyes. Jotaro's eyes lightened up. "Listen kid, I don't want to hurt you. Listen, I'll stay with you until they get better." explained Jotaro. Steven stopped crying. "Why do you want to help me until they get better?" asked Steven, still trying to stop crying. "I've got no where to stay, and it's the least I could do after near killing them." said Jotaro. "Don't worry, they can't die from someone like you!" exclaimed Steven, with a smile on his face.
They walked up to the beach house, with all the gems in their hands. When they entered the house, they put them down on small pillows to keep them safe for that moment. "I want to know how you did it, how you beat the gems." asked Steven. Jotaro, laying down sighed. "It could be a bit confusing to you but alright, I'll tell you. I have something called a stand. It's a physical manifestation of your fighting spirit, manifested in a physical form." Jotaro replied, with no emotion. "But since it's physical, why can't I see it?" asked Steven. "Only stand users can see others stands, so if you're going up agaisnt a stand user when you don't have a change, to put it frankly, you're fucked." replied Jotaro, with a slight hint of aggresiveness in voice. "Alright, now it's my turn to ask you a question, Steven." "What is it..." said Steven, stopping because he didn't know the strangers name. "Jotaro, my name is Jotaro Kujo." "Jotaro, gotcha!" exclamied Steven. "My question is: what are they, the people I fought and why did they turn into gems when fell down?" asked Jotaro. "Oh that's easy! The gems are an alien race that came down to Earth 3000 years ago to take the planet for itself, but my mom and the other gems rebelled and forced the diamonds of the planet. As for when they turned into gems when they fall down, they poof. They only do that so that they have time to regenerate!" explained Steven, with a smile on his face. Jotaro looked on the map on the wall, he saw that Russia was deformed. "Wait a minute, what happened to Russia?!" yelled Jotaro, with confusion in his voice. "What do you mean, Russia's always been like that." explained Steven. "Steven, what year is it?" asked Jotaro, slowly. "Why do you ask that, it's 2018." said Steven, this time with confusion. "Wait, I'm starting to rememeber, last thing I remember was defeating DIO in Egypt in 1988, and Russia was not like that!" yelled Jotaro. Jotaro punched the wall. "Damn it, I don't understand whats going on, this has to be DIOs doing!". Suddenly, the wall where the door was located exploded. Beneath the smoke, Jotaro could see a familar figure from the smoke...
