A Girl I Like….

The air was sweet. Li Showran walked down the side of the road, alone that night.
He continuously talked to himself , as his own words made him red.

Li sat down, and thought his own memories from out of his head…
Li quickly noticed that Meilin had the lazenboard. He scolded her, but did not notice that the fight card was ready to strike him.
With a blink of the eye, Li hit the post of the gate. His head, about to fall off its spine.
Sakura quickly came to see if he was alright, as he saw Meilin quickly fight the Clow card.
Li warned Meilin not to get hurt, but she still continued to fight. She fell as well…
Why was she fighting for him…
Had his many insults reached her yet?
Was she deaf…?
Still, even through her struggle, her pain…
..somehow..she still failed…..
Li watched, as Sakura used her card, rather than her own wits to defeat power.
…and then Sakura sealed it, into it's rectangle of a prison. The card's image appearing in the front…..
and he also heard sakura's words to Meilin…
"At least you wore it out……."

Still, Li knew there was another person in that person's life…a person of which he could not compare…
Yet, Li thought to himself "I still have a chance"
In his hand, there was a small box, laced in ribbon, and tied very carefully.
He sat on the bench., waiting for that special person.
Where could she be?
Still, he pulled out his recorder, and played a soft tune…
With the moon going up, the light is shining in the vast, dark sky..
Hopes are acending, with all the good-byes.
Expressing our love through all our hearts…
Showing grief for those who depart…
Listening to the bell's gentle chime…
Hearing the wind's peaceful rhyme…
Footsteps of the one you love
Holding the one that you belove…
It is all…
…within a day of the life….
As he finished his song, he heard a silent clapping.
He looked forward, and saw Sakura clapping.
"You sure are very good at playing the recorder, Li…" Sakura said to him softly.
Li began to blush, as he clutched the box with his hands.
He quickly thrust the box in front of Sakura
"Ummm…this is…for you…." Li nervously said.
"Aww, thank you Li. That's so sweet…" Sakura said to him..
Still, Li's nervousness had reached a highpoint…
As Sakura admired Li's present, he ran off…feeling like a complete failure..
Why couldn't I say anything? He continuously whispered in his mind….
Soon, his legs felt tired, as he stopped for a rest.
He saw Sakura's smile in his head, and then started to have good, assuring feelings…
She truly is the girl I like…. He said to himself, his face becoming as red as a rose petal storm in the summer..
With a boost of energy, he pulled out his recorder and started to play….
