I don't own Digimon or the song "Journey to the Past" from the movie Anastasia.Imagine this as a kind of a music video or a memory. I was just inspired by both to create this songfic and now as Palmon would say " Cut the lights and cue the music!" and now on with the song fic

Courage, don't desert me!
Don't turn back now were hear.
Gatomon and Wizardmon stand in front of Kari. Wizardmon places the Digivice into Gatomon's paw and pushes her forward.
People always say
Life is full of choices
No one ever mention fear!
We see Salamon meet Myotismon and how he treated and harmed her.
Or how the world can seem so vast
On a journey... to the past!
Gatomon remembers her days as Salamon.
She was journeying to find someone.
Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting.
Years of dreams just can't be wrong!
Salamon journeys farther and farther not giving up. She continues to reach for her goal,to find that someone! Determination and hope swell in her heart!
Arms will open wide
I'll be safe and wanted
Fin'lly home were I belong
We see Gatomon hugging Kari then walking and fighting along side the Digidestend.
Well, starting now, I'm learning fast
on this journey = to the past
Kari reaches for the divice and it reacts to her. Then Gatomon fully remembers her past.

I must have had them, too
Gatomon watches Meeko and Kari play together and remembers her hardships.

We see Salamon traveling and gazing at the stars. Wishing and Hoping.
One step at a time,
One hope than another,
Who knows where this road may go
Salamon crosses Lakes, Deserts, Mountains and Forests.
Back to who I was,
On to find my future,
Things my heart still needs to know
The Digivice reacts to Kari and Gatomon knows she is the 8th child. In her heart, Gatomon knew that she was her Digimon.
Yes, let this be a sign!
Let this road be mine!
Let it lead me to my past
And bring me home...
Gatomon is over joyed that she's finally found the person she was waiting for...Kari. Now she truly is home and leaps into Kari's waiting arms.

Kari and Gatomon embrace in a warm hug and a single tear trickles down her furry face. Two words softly escape her lips,
" I'm Home."
