Note to people that this isn't about Zoro and Nami also, Sanji and Robin but in this story they were paired. Why? because I ship them, duh! There will be also Luffy x Nami moments also Franky x Robin. What ships do you want to have fluffs? Tell me in the comments! then I may add them... but! The pairing is already decided... Sorryyyyyy. CHAPTER 1

Where It All Began

Luffy stared at the scene before him. Red. All he saw was the color, RED. Is it Blood? His blood? What happened? He doesn't remember. It was still a mystery to where he was. Where was his friends? He panicked at the thought of them in danger but his faith on them got the better than his worries. He noticed that he was finally gaining a bit of a conscious from his deep slumber. He was half expecting a young reindeer. Their doctor. His doctor. Tony Tony Chopper. But No, all he saw is Red. He first thought it was his cardigan , but when he began to analyze his surroundings once more. He can hear the firing of guns, and his instincts told him that something was amiss. His instincts were never wrong! He knew he has to stand up and fight but found out he couldn't. He couldn't move his body! He tried and tried but found himself-

Luffy widened his eyes as he recognized the scream that he just heard. He could recognized it anywhere...everywhere, but he didn't expect to hear her scream like this... He suddenly began to notice his surroundings even more. His vision clearer, but a little blurry.

When his vision cleared. He observed his surroundings a little bit more and realized... He was tied on a pole and he immediately paled knowing he'd die if the rope, tieing to the pole above will be cut because of the sea. What do you expect? He ate a devil fruit, which made the sea despise him.

"Your finally awake..." a gruff voice grunted to his right. He turned his head to the direction of the voice. There, he saw Roronoa Zoro, his first mate, the swordsman, *ahem* who always gets himself lost, only to see him in the same position as he is. "Zoro...?" his own voice croaked. "Wha...?-" He was interrupted by an angry voice of his cook, Black Leg, Sanji "ROBIN-CHWAN!, DAMN IT, YOU SHITTY MARINE. AS SOON AS I GOT MYSELF OUT OF THIS STUPID POLE. I'LL KICK YOUR SHITTY ASS OVER THIS STUPID UNIVERSE!". Robin?. Marine?. Where on earth are they!? Luffy turned his attention to the battle before him. He felt anger rising as he witnessed the event. Franky, his shipwright lost his metallic right arm. Usopp, his sharpshooter, lost his left eye, just like a certain marimo. Robin, his archaeologist, was leaning on the wall, heavily injured, but still helping with her devil fruit power. Chopper, his doctor, who was barely conscious, on Robin's lap, also heavily injured. Brook, his musician, has his left leg broken and Nami... Nami, his navigator was nowhere to be seen.

"What... What happened!?" Luffy yelled as he gave his full attention to Zoro, who gritted his teeth. "You were unconscious for 2 hours" Zoro paused, clearing his throat "It's been an hour now since they fought" Luffy, once again, turned his attention to the battle, looking for a certain, greedy money witch. As if reading him, Zoro said "Nami's guarding the ship". Luffy found himself sighing in relief, but he knew the danger wasn't gone. He struggled to gain his freedom and wanting to help his injured nakama, but stopped when Sanji sighed "It's no use, Luffy. We've tried everything. The ropes has locks in this, but the keys fell deep in the ocean. They didn't call it a Magical Rope for nothing."

Luffy gritted his teeth in annoyance, but an idea suddenly popped out of his head. "Nami..." Sanji and Zoro looked at him, confused. "Nami can pick locks!" He exclaimed "It's no use. Your precious navigator is long gone by now." The three of them turned their heads to the one who was responsible in kidnapping them.

The Vice Admiral of this island they were in... Sigrain Absalom. ( Note: To those who hated OC's. Don't worry because he isn't an OC. You'll know soon in the future. I hate giving you spoilers my dearest readers! )

Zoro, then started struggling as if to attack the Vice Admiral. Luffy knew how he felt though. After all, him and Nami were currently dating. After 2 years apart, they started fighting to flirting. They soon became official after the Big Mom and Kaido in Wano incident. It was the same for Robin and Sanji. They started going out, after the marriage between Sanji and Pudding settled down.

He glared at Sigrain will full of hatred, which made the said guy smirk. "My, My. What a glare you have there, Mugiwara." He chuckled. "Don't Worry. You and your crew will follow her soon... but it seems we won't be waiting too long..." Luffy, Zoro and Sanji's eyes widened as they hastily turned around to see Franky, being held by at least 20 men. Usopp was covered in chains. Brook was also covered with chains. Robin and Chopper were the only ones who were free... but not for long.

Luffy, Zoro and Sanji stared as Robin fought the marines with difficulty. She was panting very hard as she tried to protect Chopper and fight the marines at the same time. Luffy knew Robin would be at her limit soon. He has to do something, anything! He tried to struggle again from the rope that held him. He wasn't the only one struggling, though. Zoro and Sanji were also struggling, desperate to help them. He knew they were all thinking the same thing. 'WE NEED HELP!'.

Robin panted as she fell from her knees, she covered her mouth, as she coughed from the smoke of fire in the building, which they had infiltrated. She was already at her limit. She stole a glance from her crewmates. Luffy and Sanji were giving her faces that she could manage to read 'I'm Sorry'. She cringed. She hated that look. When she was regenerating her energy, the marines used this as a chance to capture the poor reindeer, who remained conscious.

"CHOPPER!" Luffy screamed.

With that warning, She tried to stand, but found out she can't, her right leg was injured. Instead, she crawled towards him and yelled "Doctor-san!" She reached a hand that could never reached him. On the corner of her eye, she saw a marine chaining her left leg with sea stone chains! She was suddenly dragged by her foot, as she struggled to get away from them. She could hear the shouts from the monster trio. She didn't even had the strength to answer them, so she just let the man drag her, wherever it may be.

Luffy, once again, stared at the scene before him. The rest of his crew were now tied up like him, but... Usopp was led somewhere else... He was brought by the marines to the Guillotine. Luffy hastily turned his head to Sigrain as he snarled "What are you planning to do with my sharpshooter!?" Sigrain smirked in return as he waved his hand to a marine to signal him something.

When his friends started to yell Usopp's name, realization hit him like a block. He was going to kill him! He struggled to set free as he watched the marine dragged him like trash. Luffy gritted his teeth in anger.

"SIGRAIN!" As soon as he said his name, Sigrain stopped as he side glanced him. "Please..." Luffy dropped his head, shocking his crew. Usopp cried as he watched his Captain bowing to an enemy because of him. "Don't hurt him." Sigrain smirked at this and snickered "Well... It's too late, now".

Luffy's eyes widened at this and seethed "You bastard!" He struggled once again as his crew followed. All of them yelling Usopp's name, desperate to save him. He wanted to stop it, but he can't. Suddenly he stopped as his own eyes widened in fear as he remembered something that made him rigid. A memory he would rather forget. The death of Ace. Was his 2 years of training not enough for him to protect his beloved nakama? Was it really worth it, separating the crew for 2 years? Did he really become strong enough to defeat all 4 emperors? Can he even go on through the adventures in the future happy, without his sharpshooter!? Without Usopp!? Is he really fit to be the King of Pirates? Did he fail... as a Captain?

When a marine, the one holding the lever for the blade of the Guillotine, pushed it forwards, to let the blade cut Usopp's head. The yell of the Straw hat crew, especially their captain's can be heard throughout the sea.

"LONG-NOSE-KUN!"

"SHITTY SNIPER!"

"USOPP-SAAAANNN!"

"USOOOOOOPPPP!"

A clank of metal clashing each other was the only thing they heard after the incident... but that wasn't their concern. Their eyes widened as they caught a glimpse of an orange hair before closing their eyes, so they won't see Usopp's result... wherever his head may be now.
