Messed Up
Poem style story. The un-named girl is Mitchie. Shane/Mitchie Nate/Mitchie Shane/?
Implied depression, drug use and self harm. Not very good, I just wrote it while I was bored.
His heart broke so swiftly,
When she left him alone,
He couldn't figure out,
Just why she would go.
He spent so much time,
Tracking her down,
To just ask her why,
She would leave town.
He finally found her,
Hiding away,
She seemed so heartbroken,
Without her Shane Grey.
But to his own dismay,
He asked her too late,
That's when he realized,
She'd left coz of Nate.
He just couldn't hate her,
She'd softened the blow,
By leaving them both,
Not letting them know.
He knew she couldn't help it,
Her heart had moved on,
Nate had been around,
And Shane had been gone.
So she ran and she hid,
So Shane wouldn't hurt,
She knew he wouldn't cope,
Seeing them flirt.
Nate wasn't to blame,
He hadn't asked for all this,
But that wouldn't stop it,
And he couldn't resist.
He fell for Shane's girl,
And he felt oh so bad,
He'd hurt his best mate,
He'd made them all sad.
Connect 3 didn't last,
After she had gone,
Shane and Nate were moping,
And Jason was alone.
He needed help too,
He felt such a loser,
And without any guidance,
He became a drug user.
All four were broken,
Far beyond repair,
They just needed help,
But help wasn't there.
But Shane pulled together,
This needed repair,
He searched for his brothers,
To fix their despair.
He first found Nate,
Holed up on his own,
The guilt eating at him,
Sat all alone.
Shane knew what to do,
At the expense of his heart,
He told to find her,
That it would be smart.
And Nate then found her,
Hurting herself,
He put her back together,
And rescued her health.
Shane watched in pain,
As they fell back in love,
But also felt glad,
He gave them that shove.
They lived happy ever after,
And ended up wed,
The wedding was gorgeous,
Shane watched, his heart bled.
But he didn't regret it,
He'd made them so glad,
And now he'd move on,
Without being sad.
But before the big wedding,
Shane had to find Jase,
Hoping he was okay,
But that wasn't the case.
He did find his sibling,
And he was not well,
Drugged up on anything,
The dealers would sell.
He sent him to rehab,
And watched him change,
From the self harming idiot,
To a Jason more strange.
He seemed to be happy,
So normal and glad,
Nobody noticed,
He was secretly sad.
But Shane watched over him,
And made sure he smiled,
As Nate walked the aisle,
And the guests went wild.
Nate went away,
With his new married wife,
And Shane watched his brother,
Get on with his life.
Jase lived more boldly,
And finally knew,
That he did have a meaning,
And dreams to pursue.
Shane, on the other hand,
Was stuck in the past,
He couldn't forget her,
She was his first and last.
At least, that's what he thought,
Until one magic day,
He met a new girl,
Who took his breath away.
Nate was so happy,
To see Shane was glad,
He hated that he had her,
And Shane had been sad.
But all was now well,
The house full of laughter,
Coz each of the brothers,
Had a happy ever after.
