Tony Stark/Henry V:
Tony/Henry are both young inheritors of riches and take the throne of a group of people after the death of their father. Henry a kingdom, Tony a company. They are both (in Henry IV/pre-Iron Man) drunk and partiers, often drinking and having fun, as well as flirting with women. They however are forced to grow up due to an event (Henry V/Iron Man 1,2,3) that affected them greatly. They also fight alongside fellow heroes (English army/Avengers) in a battle. They were both not close with their fathers as well.
Howard Stark/ Henry IV:
They were both the rulers of a group of people. They were not close to their son, and were very strict. They are not features very much in the pieces of work (Henry IV/Iron Man 1,2,3)
Obidah Stane/ Falstaff:
They were friends of the protagonists. They both betray the protagonist (although Falstaff didn't actually betray, Henry just turns his back on him). They are both killed. They also both agreed with the protagonists drunk ways. The friendship stops after the event occurs (Henry V/Iron Man 1,2,3)
Pepper Potts/Catharine:
They are the future wives of protagonists (hopefully in Tony's sake). They both have to overcome challenges to be with the protagonist (Learning English in Catharine's sake, extremis and just really dealing with him for Pepper). They are both help the protagonists lead the group of people (Catharine is queen/ Pepper is CEO).
I may continue this with characters from the Avengers and with other Shakespearean you enjoyed this parallel, and tell me if you agree or not. I'm curious.
