Thank the Maker this is my last mission for the Red Iron. My twin Jacob, Bethany, Carver stay close behind as we enter Darktown. I jog to the meeting place of the assassins, were elves among humans are speaking. "We were sent to track the deserter! Not to dilly dally around ", one of the elves scream.
"But this deserter is following a Grey Warden, who I might add has killed more of us than we've ever killed of anyone " an angry man with brown hair adds.
"We have to try! We can't return to Antiva without there heads!", the elf growls.
"I recommend leaving this is your only warning", an elven woman with long flowing black hair appears, another blond elf not far behind.
"That's the deserter!", I see someone pull a bow out from behind.
I take action sending a fire ball the way of the group while Jacob freezes the archer. The two elves are throwing knives and swinging daggers. Carver swings violently at the Crows removing body parts until we're covered in blood with corpses stack into piles.
"I'm guessing those were your Crows?", I say to the young elven woman.
"More like 'his' but, yes", she replies.
"So I see and your the Grey Warden they spoke of?", I ask.
"More like Hero of Ferelden", the blond elf mutters.
"Hero?", I mutter to myself.
"My name is Anika, Zevran, not Hero " she growls.
" And you my young lady are?" Zevran asks.
"I'm Jennifer Hawke most people call me Jen or Hawke ",I answer.
"And your friends?" she asks.
"Jacob or Jake", I continue , "Carver and Bethany and it's family not friends.
"Mmm,",she pauses,"I saw Carver at Ostagar and the rest of you in Lothering."
"My Tiger, should we rent a room in the hanged man?" Zevran asks Anika.
"Might as well.",she replies grimly, "You know what Jen is you need me just ask we'll stay for a while."
"We have to report back to Meeran. ",I add turning back to the road to Lowtown.
Meeran takes in my story of what happened. "So they were Crows but not here for one of us, yet for a Grey Warden" he sighs,"This is your last mission Hawke. You will be a citizen withen weeks", he smiles warmly. "I'll send you some letters if you want some coin Hawke ".He leaves us in the street close to Gamlen's House.
"So what now?", Jake askes.
" Staying out of the Templars way."
