Hi! This is a short Ronks I wrote for my facebook page! Hope you like it!
He was so nervous, that he thought he might lose it. Never in his life had he thought one question could change is whole life, and especially the answer. He had been considering this for a while, but couldn't quite plug up the courage to so it. Tonks was the most important person in his life right now, and with everything that was going on, he needed some reassurance, that she wasn't going anywhere.
He heard her come in to the house, and felt himself get even more nervous, there was just so much at risk. He couldn't live without her, he just couldn't. "Hi!" She said as she came through the door. He took a deep breath, and smiled at her. "Hi Nymphadora" She glared at him "Don't call me Nymphadora" He laughed light at her reaction, she always got so annoyed when someone called her by that name.
"So, how are you?" She asked as she walked over to him, and gave him a light kiss, he felt himself get a little more relaxed, but only a little. "I… I wanted to ask you something…" He said, but refused to look her in the eyes, afraid he might not get through with it. "Well, ask" She said back, trying to understand why he looked so nervous. "I…" He stopped talking, and looked up to meet her gaze. He pushed her of from where she had been sitting on his lap, and stood in front of her, looking at her. "What?" She asked. He took a deep breath, and got down on one knee, she gasped. "Nymphadora, do you want to marry me?" He asked, and felt himself get worried, he was so afraid. She smiled, "Yes Remus" She answered, and he felt himself relax. "I love you" He told her, "I love you" She said, tears in her eyes. He got up and pulled her into a hug. After a while she whispered, "and don't call me Nymphadora…" He smiled into her hair and said, "I'll just call you my wife".
