They never saw it coming…
It all started one year ago. Tamaki, Kyouya, Hikaru, Kaoru, Honey, and Mori had all come to the same conclusion; they were all madly in love with Haruhi. That it's self was not all that surprising. They decided to resolve this with a simple contest; whoever Haruhi chose could have her without interference from the others.
They each tried their hardest; for three months Haruhi was showered in flowers, chocolate, gifts and other such things. Haruhi, in her adorable obliviousness to romantic matters never figured out what they were doing. She just knew that suddenly she had started developing feelings for…Honey!
Yes my friends, Honey won her heart. The others never saw it coming, for they had all expect Tamaki or at least Kyouya to win.
And here they are now, at the wedding of Honey and Haruhi.
The boy's reactions were varied to say the least.
Mori was Honey's best man; while disappointed that he would never be able to show Haruhi how much she meant to him, he was happy for his friend.
Kyouya was trying to figure out how he could get revenge without breaking their agreement.
Hikaru and Kaoru were sad, but they were somewhat relieved. They never did anything without sharing, and they had no idea if Haruhi would go for that sort of thing, so this may have been for the best.
And Tamaki… well, he was sitting in a corner crying, growing mushrooms all over his body.
