Prologue
"excuse me Eddy" Edd said as he walked up to his short, three-haired friend "but may I sleep over at your house tonight? Somehow my home has been infested with mice"
"sure, just don't label anything" Eddy answered. suddenly, Ed was sent flying out of his house, he landed face-first on the pavement in front of his two friends
"hey, can I stay at one of your guys's house for a while?" Ed asked once he got up "Sarah won't let me sleep anywhere in the house because my room is infested with mice"
"fine you can both sleep at my place" Eddy replied "just don't do anything stupid" with that, the trio went to Eddy's house. Edd already had his sleeping bag and Ed had pulled his out of his jacket. Eddy opened the door to his room and mice spilled out immediately
"oh! Hello Eddy!" Eddy's mom, Kelly said over the chorus of squeaks "somehow the house has been infested with mice"
"Oh great" Eddy growled "what are we supposed to do now?"
"well, we could always go camping" Edd suggested
"that's a good idea" Kelly agreed "and I just happened to have found a sleeping bag and tent" with that she tossed Eddy said items
"well I guess we'll have to go and find a camping spot" Eddy said and the trio walked into the forest.
They soon got to the spot where the Urban Rangers camped in the episode 'an Ed in the bush', they set up camp, said they're good nights, and drifted of to dreamland
The Eds found themselves hovering in the midnight sky
"where are we?" Eddy asked
"are we in space?" Ed asked
"no, we're not" Edd answered "you can tell because there aren't any clouds in space" he gestured to a cloud that was slowly passing by
"this is probably just a dream" Eddy suggested
"what think makes that you Eddy?" Ed asked, it took Eddy a moment to put the words of that sentence in the right order
"..well how often is it that you suddenly find yourself floating high up in the air?" he finally replied. Suddenly a star flashed then shot towards them
"shooting star! Make a wish!" Ed exclaimed "i wish I had some gravy"
"i wish that the shooting star wasn't coming straight at us!" Edd exclaimed. The star was pretty close to them, but then it suddenly kinda exploded, but all it made was a bright light causing the Eds to shield they're eyes. When the light subsided, the Eds looked and saw a blue cat with blue eyes, it's fur sparkled like stars
"a cat? Who's dream is this?" Eddy asked
"who are you kitty-cat?" Ed asked
"i am BlueStar" the cat replied
"hello! My name is-"
"i know who you are Edward" BlueStar interrupted "now, how would you boys like to go on an adventure that may very well change your lives?"
"an adventure? Oh boy! I want to go on an adventure!" Ed exclaimed happily
"well it couldn't hurt, this is just a dream after all" Edd said
"yeah, I guess I could take a brake from dreaming about money" Eddy said causing the other two to look at him as if he had grown a second head
"who are you and what have you done with Eddy?" Edd asked
"i guess even dreams about what ya love get old after a while" Eddy replied, he then took a step forward "I'm in"
"i shall accept this quest" Ed said as he took a step forward
"very well then" Edd said as he too stepped forward "i too shall go on this adventure" more cats appeared the same way BlueStar did
'I'm gonna go blind if that happens again' Eddy thought
"as you wish" BlueStar said, bowing her head to the Eds "but remember. You can not take back this decision" once that was said there was a blinding light which caused the Eds to wake up. But something was wrong..
