Day

The black world surrounds me as I sleep. I try to get up, to wake up, but all other forces possible push me back down.
I lay there and I start to see the world of color surround me. Then suddenly, I am back in Los Angeles. I can see June running right for me as I lay on the ground. Beyond her I can see Commander Jameson aiming a gun right at her temple. I try to get up, but the voices in my head scream and hold me back. I then begin to scream at her, but she doesn't listen. June keeps coming closer and closer.
I then hear a shot from the gun that Commander Jameson holds in her hands.
And it hits June right in the back of her head.
Screaming I try to get up, but those voices in my head hold me back. Screaming to the soldiers to help her, but nobody notices.
"Goodbye, Day" she whispers as she closes her eyes. "I love you, always" she added as she drifted off.

Screaming.
Crying.

I then begin to lose my train of thought,
"Day, what are you doing here?" I ask myself.
"Day where are you?" I ask again.
"Day who are these people?" I think.
"Day, who is that laying on the ground?"

And I don't know.

The color of the world then changes to a room. I can hear the voices again calling my name and talking with each other.

"He is awake" one of them says.
"Day? Day, are you there?" another asks.

I can see the wold come into focus, and I realize this is an operating room. But all I do is grown. I look to my side and see a figure emerge, a beautiful figure right in front of me.
I scanned her eyes and asked her, "Do I know you? You look familiar"
I can see her eyes then grow sad and weak, "You...don't know who I am?" she asked sadly.
I study her face hard but nothing comes to mind. "I am sorry, no. But should it?" I answer.
The girls face grows weak and her eyes fill up with tears. I can tell she is trying to tell me something but just cant find the words. "No, The republic sent me to check on you. My name is June" she manages to say with a smile. The girl then leaves as she sobs.

I watch her as she leaves.
June.

Then all of the sudden, I want that June to come back.
