Mal stirred awake and looked to his right. His new co-pilot River was staring at him. Blushing. " You dreamed of me again."

" You know you could stay out of my head."

" I didn't need to be your loud. I was curious to see what I do in your dreams that make you ...loud."

" Oh my God." Mal wiped the sleep from his eyes.

" Hey you said that in your dream."

" Darlin' !"

" That too." She giggled. " All I seemed to do was hold you and tell you how much I love and need you. I was expecting something more primal but it was oddly romantic."

Mal sighed. " Don't read to much into my dreams. I'm just a Captain who hasn't got laid since Inara left...again."

She fiddled with her fingers. " I ... I love you too. You said that. "

"Again a dream."

" What , what if I felt that way for you and it wasn't a dream."

" River ,don't -''

She walked over to him and got on his lap. " I'm better when I'm around you. I'm a better me and your a better you." She leaned in for a gentle kiss. He let her ,then deepened it. His hand caressed her neck then worked it's way down her back.

Out of breath he looked at her. "We better stop."

" I don't want to stop. I want you."

" River..."

She kissed his neck and her fingers worked there way down to his zipper.

" Are you sure?" He asked. Although he wanted her he was still protective of her. She licked his lips. " I'm taking that as a yes." He hiked up her dress and worked her underwear off. He helped place her in him. They moaned and worked together in a thrusting rhythm. Hands and lips went mad as their orgasms rose. They buried their heads into the others shoulders as they came.
