There was only one way to describe this place—paradise. The sky was bluer than ever, without a single cloud in sight; the grass was tall, almost up to Russia's knees. But the best part by FAR was the sunflowers. Some were short and some were tall—some were even taller than Russia! All were equally majestic with long, luscious, golden petals that glowed in the shining sunlight. The warm weather was so relaxing that Russia took off his coat and his shirt, revealing his toned, muscular torso that he often kept covered due to the cold in his homeland. He loosened his scarf, lied down on the nearby hammock, and closed his eyes. It was as if nothing could break his sanctuary.
Until…
Russia opened his eyes. He could've sworn he heard something in the distance, calling his name. Assured that he was alone, he closed his eyes once again and regained his serenity.
Then suddenly, the aura completely changed. The soothing warmth disappeared and was replaced with a terrifying chill that Russia recognized all too well. Then he heard it.
"Biiiig bbrrooootherrr..."
Russia quickly got up and ran for his dear life. How did she find him here?! He kept running until he realized that he was no longer in his beautiful field. He was now in a dark, shadowy alleyway that had a dead end. Written all over the walls was "MARRY ME," and with closer inspection, he realized that it was written in blood. Before he had time to escape, he heard it again.
"Biiiiigg bbbrrroootthheeerrrr..."
He quickly turned around, and there she was, with bloody hands and a wicked smile. He knew he could now escape now.
"Biiig brrootherr, I have a present for you..." And then, as if it could get any worse, she held out a single sunflower…drenched in blood. As Russia was about to let out a scream, he was shaken awake.
"Big brother, what's the matter? Did you have a nightmare?" concerned Belarus asked.
"NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Russia yelled, as he ran out the door.
~I know this chapter is short, but it's kind of supposed to be an introduction~
