Manga Maid's Note: Hello! Lots of homework. Sorry about my other stories. I have NOT abandoned them. This a funny story that just popped into my head. My heroine's name is Elizabeth but I call her Beth. I will work harder. Sorry for anyone who like my other stories. Will try to post soon.

Beth walked outside to her animals. She saw her neighbor and rival, Jamie milking his cow Moomoo. She smiled at his back and called out to him.
"Hiya Jamie!"
Jamie ignored her as per usual for him. She grinned. Same old Jamie. She decided to tease him a bit.
"Jamie, if you don't talk to me… I'll come into YOUR property and I'll take YOUR hat… and… you will never see it again!!! Until tomorrow."
Jamie decided she was bluffing. He shook his head and kept milking. She grinned again and began to go towards the fence. Well, she had warned him.
She jumped the fence and snuck up on Jamie. Then, with lightning reflexes, she took his hat and ran for it. Jamie touched his head a few seconds after she had taken it. He jumped up and ran after her, angrier then a hornet whose nest had been trampled on.
"IDIOT!!! Give me back my hat!! Now!!!"
Beth had hopped the fence by now and she had hid the hat. She decided to tease Jamie some more.
"Hat? What hat? I don't have a hat!"
Jamie glared at her while she leaned over the fence. He said, "I didn't say anything about your hat, idiot!! I want MY hat back, NOW!!!
"Jamie, Jamie, Jamie… If I gave you back you're hat today, I'd be breaking my word. You'll see you're hat tomorrow, like I promised. Besides, you knew what would happen."
Jamie was fuming by this time. He wanted his hat back. Beth giggled.
"Besides," she kissed his cheek, "I'd like to see you without your hat sometimes."
Jamie blushed red and stuttered, "Y-Y-You idiot." He turned red and ran back to Moomoo.
Beth chuckled. She pulled out his hat. She fingered it lovingly.
"Besides," she said to herself thoughtfully, "You'll see this tomorrow… Maybe with a jar of jam too."
And with that, she headed back to the farm.
