Martin woke with a sudden chill down his back. He looked to his side to see the abbey sun raise in front of the south wall. Until he saw a banner raise in front of the sun that had a skull with a, sword and mace crossed through it. He rang the chapel bells hoping everyone would awake but they were already at the gate. He heard a battle cry then a boom against the gate doors. BOOM…………BOOM………. Redwall was being attacked!
