This is how I think things would turn out if the Chosen One and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was able to control his emotions and remain a Jedi. For a start, Palpatine would have fled the scene before Windu could have killed him. Palpatine would probably still enact Order 66 but the raid on the Jedi temple would be much less successful, as there would be no Sith assisting the clones attack the Jedi, so the clones would be killed. Before long, Palpatine would've managed to transform the Republic into the Empire but this time, it would be very different - there would be Jedi left to destroy the Empire. A few years of fighting later, the Rebellion would have joined the battle, so the Jedi and the Rebellion would launch the assault on the Empire, with arguably the 4 most powerful Jedi ever: Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker respectively. However, I see of a type of Starkiller figure or a ton of Inquisitors attacking the remaining Jedi leading the assault. Eventually, the Jedi would overwhelm them and proceed to Palpatine, wiping out troopers on the way. They would arrive in the room that Palpatine was in. The Emperor would reach for his two lightsabers and ignited them, leaping at Windu. Mace already knew this move and blocked it, slicing that lightsaber in half. Yoda would engage with the Emperor, while Anakin and Obi-Wan would finish off the rest of the Inquisitor figures. Yoda would eventually get sucked into a long lightsaber lock, seeing a purple blade in front of him. Palpatine looked down to see Mace stabbing him. Yoda would Force Push him away, dead and destroy the Death Star, effectively destroying the Galactic Empire.
