As if his entire day hadn't been crappy enough already...
He'd been kidnapped, shot at, his pardon had gotten flushed down the toilet as it were, Murdock of all people had gotten the girl while pretending to be him, and while he had been imitating Murdock to prove some point or other, the guys from the V.A. had turned up and dragged him off, having mistaken him for Murdock.
Three hours. Three freaking hours.
He had been locked in Murdock's room for three hours until Dr. Richter had come by and sprung him, demanding that he have Murdock back by tomorrow morning.
Most people wouldn't have minded being locked in Murdock's room too much, what with the black and white tv that had an Atari hooked up to it, the PacMan arcade game and the Hockey arcade game to keep one occupied, but he wasn't most people. He liked the finer things in life, and a room in the V.A. psych ward was most definitely not fine, even if it came with free happy pills and a shot that had left him higher than a kite.
Besides, he sucked at video games.
