A/N: Haha, this title sucks, but I guess it's better than my first one, which was very simple. At least I put effort into this one! *Tried to put effort into this one… Also, the beginnings kinda dark… It gets sweet later on though. c: Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
"Midou!" Katsuya yelled to the man, tied up inside the dark room, a dull expression on his face. Horrified, Katsuya opened the door and immediately rushed to the half-naked man, hugging him close.
Midou began to shudder in Katsuya's arms and looked up at him in fear. "Saeki…" he whispered, "I'm scared…"
"Midou!" Katsuya called out to him again, horrified to realize that Midou was nearing death, "this is my fault, isn't it? I'm sorry…"
"What's wrong?" Midou asked Katsuya, who had rested his head on Midou's lap while Midou gently stroked his hair.
"Nothing," Katsuya said, relieved to see the older man, "it was just a nightmare."
"How unlike you," Midou said and continued his paperwork.
Katsuya suddenly sat up and pushed Midou's work out of his hand.
Midou glared at him angrily in response. "What are you-" He was interrupted when Katsuya hugged him and gently kissed his neck.
"Promise me that you'll never leave…" Katsuya whispered, "I'll always be here to protect you…"
"Something tells me this wasn't just a nightmare," Midou said, blushing, "what happened?"
"Y-you died," Katsuya stuttered shakily.
"I died?" Midou repeated in surprise, "geez, how pathetic do you think I am? I'm not going to die on you. I can take care of myself."
"But I was the one that hurt you," Katsuya continued.
"Do you think I hate you for doing what you did to me? I already told you, Saeki. I love you and that's not going to change. You're not like that anymore anyways," Midou protested, "now quit being so depressed! It's unusual for you to act like this, so it's freaking me out!"
"Midou…" Katsuya whispered to him gently. He then placed his hands on Midou's shoulders and gave him an affectionate kiss.
"S-Saeki!" Midou stuttered in shock after Katsuya pulled away from him.
"Haha, sorry, Midou," Katsuya chuckled, "you're cute when you're embarrassed."
"I'm glad you're back to your back to your usual perverted self," Midou said in annoyance, though he couldn't help but sigh in relief to see that Katsuya was alright.
"Midou, come sleep with me," Katsuya said.
"Now? I'm busy!" Midou responded.
"It's getting late though and you've been working all day." Katsuya grabbed Midou's hand and tugged him off of the couch, "I really need to hold you right now."
Midou gave Katsuya a concerned look. Realizing how much Katsuya's own past actions had haunted him, Midou could understand his fear. Admittedly, he was slightly frightened of Katsuya himself, even now. The thought of Katsuya hurting him scared him, but he still chose to stay by Katsuya's side because he loved him.
Katsuya, on the other hand, still teased Midou out of amusement, but genuinely cared about him and was terrified of the thought of Midou leaving him.
"Alright," Midou said gently, hugging Katsuya tightly, "I understand…"
A/N: Hehehe, Midou and Megane Katsuya get a happy ending. So much fluff (and sex ;)). Wut? :o How much do you want to bet that Katsuya's just going to go rough on him again like 5 minutes later?
