"you are loved, by so many and so much, but by no one more than me."

The Doctor put the Tardis on Silent, turned the lights off, and landed her as quietly as possible in the corner of River's cell in the Storm Cage. If all had gone to plan she would be with Amy and Rory by now, but when it came to River, plans had a tendency to go awry. He poked his head cautiously around the TARDIS door and breathed a sigh of relief as he looked into the empty cell. He grinned to himself and jumped back inside to get his supplies. This would be brilliant, she would love it, he could just feel it. And grinning to himself he set to work.

River materialised in her cell with a loud crash of thunder and lightning. She was about to throw herself exhausted onto her little prison bed when she looked up from the vortex manipulator at her wrist and stopped. She looked around her cell, her mouth dropping, eyes widening. Every surface was covered in little glowing TARDIS blue candles, filling the cell with their warm orange light. The floor was carpeted with soft red rose petals and in the middle of the room stood the Doctor, her Doctor, a wide grin spread across his beautiful boyish face, a little red bow tie straight at his throat. She couldn't help but grin wordlessly back at him as he took her in his arms.

"Happy Valentine's day Dr Song."
