Rei was brooding.
It wasn't normal for him to brood. But there came a time in every neko-jin's life that they would have to go through some kind of emotional turmoil.
Alright. Maybe not EVERY neko-jin, maybe just Rei.
Besides, not every neko-jin he knew had a bad ass Russian for a boyfriend. Actually, he wasn't sure anymore whether they would still be together. He and Bryan just came from an extremely nasty fight. The chances of them making up seemed zero.
The Chinese teen sat huddled in a quiet, lonely corner of the quaint yard in the Kinomiya dojo. There were several people going in and out the house that day; Tyson was in for a large round of interviews from the media.
The rest of the team was being interviewed too, but Rei had chosen to lie back for a while. True enough, he wasn't feeling up to it in his unstable state.
His date with solitude was so rudely interrupted when a whack from the heavens almost dislodged his neck. Amber eyes shot up to glare at the culprit but found that he had never seen the person before.
"Snap out of it!" the guy screamed. "He doesn't love you and he never will!"
Rei had no idea of how this anonymity found out about his personal life. The brooding was making some progress and he was on the way to accepting the fact that his relationship with Bryan was officially...over. He needn't be told of what he already knew; his indignance was far from giving way for surprise.
"So?!" the neko retaliated. "Was hitting me really necessary?!"
