Behind Blue Eyes

Robin sat on the roof looking off into the distance. He missed Star so much. She had been gone for almost a year now. Star had to leave because of a war raging on her planet. He couldn't stop thinking about her. A tear rolled down his face and fell on the cement roof.

"Robin, I thought I would find you here" said Terra as she walked on the roof. Robin immediately wiped the tear from his cheek.

"Yeah, you found me" he said sarcastically.

"Robin it's snowing, come inside!"

"No" he answered sharply.

"She'll come back."

Robin turned around. "But not soon enough" he said.

No one knows what its like to be the bad man, to be the sad man.

"Robin she promised that she would be back."

"I know" he answered. "But what if she doesn't"

"She will, now come inside before you freeze to death out here. Me, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and even Raven are worried about you."

Robin let out a slight laugh.

"I'll be in, in a little while."

"Whatever, just hurry" said Terra walking away, mumbling something under her breath.

No one knows what it's like to be hated, to be faded, to telling only lies.

All he wanted was to see her again, hear her voice, and hold her in his arms.

But my dreams, they are as empty as my conscious seems to be. I have hour's cold and lonely, my love is vengeance that's never free.

Robin turned around to go inside. Just as he went to grab the door knob a snowball hit him on the shoulder.

"What the hell! Who's there?" When he looked the first thing he saw nothing, just the horizon. "Show yourself!!" he demanded. A girl with red hair and green eyes floated up to the top of the tower.

"Starfire" said Robin "Is it really you."

"Yes Robin it's really me" she said.

Robin and Star walked closer and closer. Star wrapped her arms around his neck and Robin put his hands around her waist.

"I told you I would be back" she said in almost a whisper. "Why didn't you believe me?"

"I don't know, I guess it's just because I..." Star pressed her finger against his lips. She pulled him closer to her face. "Star I wanna show you something" Robin pulled off his mask, revealing ice blue eyes. Star stared into Robin's eyes and slowly pulled him into a kiss that seemed like it would never end and they were just fine with that.
