She's insane.

Tony watches her pound on her keyboard and yell at her computer. McGee looks up from his own screen with a torn expression on his face, like he can't decide whether or not he wants to attempt to fix the computer right now. He appears to settle on not getting in Ziva's way, and returns to his work.

"Zee-vah, calm yourself."

Ziva fixes her partner with a withering glare, one that used to make Tony squirm. By this point, though, she doesn't frighten him. Usually.

There was a time, early in their relationship, when he found her obnoxious but very, very attractive. And not much more than that. Over the years, they grew close- something he never would have predicted. It took a long time, and they faced many trails, but now, Tony will say that Ziva is his best friend.

Well, actually, he will think that, but won't voice it to anybody else. Not even her.

The parameters of their friendship are odd, and they do struggle to feel them out. They flirt, they argue, and sometimes they exchange meaningful looks that leave Tony lightheaded. Even so, he knows he can depend on her- when he needs to talk, when he needs to get his mind off work, she is there.

He has no idea what Ziva will be to him in ten years. There are just too many unknowns in their relationship. But right now, as she gets her computer to work again and laughs maniacally, he knows what she will always be his sweet cheeks. His ninja.

His crazy chick.

I have been wanting to write this for a while… finally did, was it good? Expect a companion piece, probably tomorrow, in Ziva's point of view about Tony… it will be called Annoying Bug, a reference to the season seven episode Power Down. Yes, good stuff. Hope you enjoyed!
