Arthur Couldn't help it.
Arthur didn't know what to do.
Should he follow Merlin and disapoint his father, because he followed Merlin? Should he stay and wait in Camelot, and just hope for the best? Arthur didn't know, but one thing he did know for sure, he certainly weren't gonna let his Merlin be out there alone.
He didn't take long to decide. He had to get Merlin back, back so he could protect him, make him feel safe. Just knowing Merlin were safe would be the best thing in the world. His Merlin.
Arthur ran as fast as he could down and into the stables. He mounted his horse and rode for the gates of Camelot. He nodded to the guards at the gate and put the horse in full gallop.
He rode at fast as the horse could carry him and if Merlin were walking he could catch Merlin before he reached Ealdor. If he would catch Merlin before Ealdor, he could talk to Merlin with no one around, no castle, no people telling his father and certainly no father around bugging him about finding a wife, when it's Merlin he want.
The sun began to sink lower on the sky, as he saw a figure in the distance. As he came closer to the figure it began to look familiar to him. The raven black hair, the navy blue shirt and the red scarf thingy around the figures neck.
He found Merlin…
He made the horse ride even faster than it already did. He came closer and closer. He nearly yelled out to Merlin, just to let him know he was coming.
Merlin began to hear hooves pounding on the soil behind him. He turned around and he recognized the blond and the horse carrying him.
He just stood there, he didn't know what to do. He actually didn't think Arthur would come after him, and he felt his heart flutter. Arthur came after him, him of all people.
Arthur finally reached Merlin. He jumped of his horse and caught Merlin in this arms, they just stood there holding on to each other.
They were going to Ealdor together…
