Honey why you calling me so late
it's kinda hard to talk right now

"Elizabeth?" His soft voice asked, I looked at him letting the tears fall off my face. "What're ye doin' 'ere love?"

I shook my head, and threw myself into his shoulder. "Shhhh…." He soothed slowly stroking my hair. I looked at him, the tear still threatening to spill. He gently wiped my wet face, and I smiled gratefully.

"I can't talk right now, Lizzie…." I put my finger up to his lips.

Honey why you crying is everything okay
I gotta whisper cause I can't be too loud

I kissed him gently, soaking in the gentle warmth of his tangy lips. He deepend the kiss, but pulled back when I moaned. "Shhh….." He points towards the door. I nod in understanding.

Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on

"I'm sorry," I say, pulling him close again.

"Lizzie, I can't," He says pulling away. I look at him sadly. "So you moved on?"

He shakes his head, "Never."

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I,
never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

"Jack," I say with a reprimanding tone. "You better not be lying to me." He shakes his head again. "No, Lizzie, I couldn't."

I smile. "Good."

"Call me Jack again," He says pulling me up against him.

"Jack," I say sweetly, I feel his rough lips caress mine. I sigh and fall into his kiss. "Lizzie, I shouldn't," he moans, pushing me up against his house. "Careful," I warned.

He pulled away. "I'm sorry, Lizzie, I can't."

It's funny that you're calling me tonight
And yes I dreamt of you too

"Do you know why I came Jack?" He shook his head. "I dreamt that I killed you again." I sighed and looked down with tears in my eyes. He looked at me shocked.

"I dreamt of you to, I dreamt of that day, the day you……" He trailed of when I shook my head. "Please, Jack, don't."

And does he know you're talking to me will it start a fight
No, I don't think she has a clue

"Does Will know?" He asked, I shook my head, I nodded towards the door. "No."

"Then I guess it's just you and me."

"No, Lizzie, we can't, Will…… I can't betray my best friend like this, and you know how Ana gets." I nodded, and then turned to leave.

"Goodbye Jack," I said as I start to walk away.

"I don't want to say goodbye Lizzie, never, please?" He looked desperate.

"Jack, you know as well as I do that I can't return here, ever."

"And I can't go to your house." I smiled faintly. "See, Jack, this is goodbye."

I ran up to him pressing my lips against his one last time. I saw Ana's face at the window and pulled away in horror.

"Jack?" She asked softly from inside. "Ana," He said with resolution.

"Goodbye Jack."

"Goodbye Lizzie."

"Wait, 'Lizbeth," Ana Maria called as I started to walk away.

"Yes?" I asked, walking cautiously back. "Take Jack with ye?" I stared at her shocked.

Will walked out of the house, staring at me in astonishment, "Elizabeth?"

"Hello Will."

"What are you doing here?"

"Probably the same thing as you," I said laughing as he blushed. "Will you ever forgive me?"

"Yes, Will, I will, I did it to you know."

Honey why you calling me so late

"Maybe it's a good thing I just happened to stop by," I said as Jack pulled me into his arms once again.

"Maybe." He pressed his lips against mine, and the world melted away.
