Twinkle Twinkle Little Star By Bitch Slap

A little boy 5 or 6 sat in the backyard of Number 4 Privet Drive, hiding below the kitchen window hopping his Aunt or his Uncle wouldn't see him, so he could stay out just a little longer. He liked staying outside, it was better then the small cupboard he occupied under the steps. A flash of light in the sky caught his attention, a star. He remembered a song he heard his Aunt sing. Dudley was crying because he fell over, forgetting to mention while chasing him, Aunt Petunia pointed out a star in the sky, and started singing, she wasn't bad, but he wouldn't see her famous anytime soon, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star," She sang softly to calm Dudley down, "How I wonder what you are!" She continued, not noticing Harry hiding behind the door listening, "Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky!" Dudley started giggling, forgetting about his scabbed knee, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are!" She finished, "Time for bed!"

"I don't wanna go to bed mamma!" Dudley wined.

"Nope, it's time for you to go to bed so you can grow big!" She tried to tell him. By this time Harry had left, and was going down the stairs, wishing someone would sing to him, but according to his Uncle, he as a freak and no one sang to a worthless freak. Closing his eyes tight he thought, Wish I may, wish I might, first star I see tonight, may I have this wish tonight. After making his wish he stood up in the grass and whipped grass off his pants inside so Aunt Petunia didn't get mad, she had to have every thing clean.

As Harry grew older he learned that his wish would never come true, he would grow older, go to school, be accepted into Hogwarts and go on wild adventures up his wish would always be in the back of his mind, just sitting, always waiting, but never surfacing or coming true. Sitting in the yard of the Weaslys, he closed his eyes tight, "Whish I may, wish I might, first star I see tonight, let me have this wish tonight." Thinking for a second, he mad his wish, "I wish someone would love me enough to sing me a lullaby."

AN: Well this is a drabble I had to put, it was nagging me, I want all critism, this is a drabble, so it's spose to be short.
