Making poffins was fun, especially with more people. Hikari had always loved to make poffins. She would always drag anyone she could get her hands on to come and make them with her. Though she guessed no one else could see the fun in making them.
Her target this time was her childhood friend and rival Jun. One, there he was. Two, now he was only a few feet away and coming fast. Three, now pounce! She sprang out from behind the bushes and had landed right flat on the boy causing both to fall.
"Hikari!" he yell, completely shocked. He had been trying to get to the latest gym, so as to get the next badge he needed, when unexpectedly he was tackled to the ground.
"Jun!" she squealed, delighted that she was able to capture the pray.
"Why'd you just tackle me?" he said, trying to grasp the situation at hand.
"The early bird catches the worm as they say," she said, smiling.
"...Hikari, you mean to say the early Hikari catches the Jun?" he said, questioning her motives.
"Yep!" she replied getting off of the boy. She extended her hand reaching for the boy. Hesitantly he grabbed her hand as she pulled him up. But instead of letting go she tightened her grip and the boy and began to run.
By the time that they had stopped Jun had no idea as to wear they were. Hikari on the other hand was happily humming to herself while digging threw her bag. "Why are we here?" he asked, examining his surroundings.
The girl didn't answer only walked over to the counter and put a handful of berries on the counter. "We're making poffins!" she said, excitedly. Oh, he had heard of how she was kidnapping people to make poffins with her.
Slowly the boy made his way over to the girl. He glanced down and the poffins with a sour face. "I'm guessing I'm your next victim. But, you'll have to teach me cos this is a first for me," he said, picking up a berry and placing it in his mouth.
"Jun! Don't eat the berries before we even start," she said, trying her best to scold him but finding it increasingly hard to do due to her good mood.
"So how do we start?" he asked, smiling at the girl. She took it as his way of approving the situation.
"You pick two berries, put them in the pot and stir," she answered, pointing to the pile of berries on the counter. He took his time picking out, what he thought was, the best berries in the batch. Then they began to stir. Jun tried but to his dismay he ended up always stirring it way too fast. Hikari then decided to help.
The boy glanced down at the girl. Her face was filled with enjoyment. Was making poffins that fun? "Hey, Hikari, you know you'll have to receive some kind of punishment for kidnapping me," he said, staring in the opposite direction of the girl.
She looked up at him. "Punishment?" she said, a look of question showing on her face.
The boy leaned down and kissed her check. "Here's your punishment," he said, laughing at the girl's blushing face.
Making poffins did turn out to be fun after all. And now another person had learned the fun of making poffins?
