It was too late for Mamoru. The starseed cannot return his physical form to accomplish his task as the prince of earth. Everybody is now figuring out on how to keep the starseed from fading. Without a host that will keep it alive the earth will die. As Usagi mourns her prince a life from the future is back again to give hope.. That not everything is lost...
chapter one:
"Luna, is she okay?" Artemis asked Luna as they sat on the rooftop of Usagi's house.
"It's been three days since the final battle. She's physically okay... but her thoughts are grounded to the reality that he's not coming back. And what scares her the most is the future." Luna recalls Usagi's cries for the last 3 nights. How it seems Mamoru was erased from the face of the earth. Amy hacked Mamoru's Highschool records while Haruka & Michiru investigated Mamoru's place. The last traces of Mamoru's exitence that Amy found was the car crash. The police records that she found indicated that Mamoru also died then with his parents.
"Minako checked the arcade where Motoki is working. Since the place is being repaired due to the impact of the battle days before, the arcade is currently close." Artemis swallowed hard as he tried to break the news to Luna. "It's seems Motoki doesn't know Mamoru-san. The others figured that since Motoki and Mamoru met during Highschool - "
" - Mamoru-san never existed in his life... right after the battle... all of Usagi's pictures with Mamoru are gone... Just like when Chibiusa returned to the future... and now...now..." Luna can't continue her thoughts about Chibiusa.
The two cats observed the people of Tokyo working around them. It was a miracle that the residential part of the 10th district was not harmed at all. The People recalled how they woke up from a nightmare as they witness the sailor scouts floating in the air around an angel. It may take a couple of months for the place to recover since almost all of the commercial area was affected. It was a devastating sight, but it is nowhere near the heartbreaking sight of a girl just under the blue rooftop where the cats are sitting. The Angel that the people recalled three days ago. Right now, she's sitting on her bed alone holding on a golden crystal, the only proof that her love existed. The only thing that's giving life to earth.
