Well Roomfriends, it looks like we're coming up on two very looooooong hiatuses (3 weeks and 4 weeks, with only ONE episode in between). It's a busy time of year, but that doesn't mean we can't clean out our files and get some of those old fics up before the show is back in full swing again!
Epic multi-chapter? Bring it. Fun new AU? Brilliant. A short 500 word or less ficlet for that scene you just cannot get out of your head? Even better. Who doesn't appreciate some short and sweet fluff while they eat lunch at their desk?
Lots of writers on here have found inspiration with a certain song or pic/GIF posted on Tumblr. Maybe there's even a scene you adored that you wanted to see even MORE happen. If you've dreamed up stories or scenarios in your head, write them down and get them posted, we would all love to read them! And as an added bonus, you can get them out of your own head. :-)
What about all those characters that are coming back, but never get enough love? Sadie, Bonnie, Bob, Joan, Jess' mysterious sister...put them in a story and get creative! We're not here to judge or be critical of your writing style or your story ideas. If it sounds interesting to you, read it and review it. We're an amazing fandom with so many incredible ideas, so lets share them.
So clear your head and your Docs folder and get your stuff posted!
We're in for some serious New Girl withdrawal in the next few weeks, so let's get through it together.
