Chapter 1

Late night snack

The bartender stared at the door with curiousity. The bar was not as busy as usual and he wondered why. It probably had something to do with the sickness thats going around. Sighing deeply he picked up his glass of wine and drank it slowly. As he set it down he spotted a young man walk in. He had a long black coat and big black sunglasses. His long white hair fell over his shoulders sticking out closer to the top of his head. The bartender eyes him as he walked over to the bar. "Can I have a beer please?" The man asked sitting down. "Of course" The bartender murmured grabbing a bottle of beer. "So are you new around here?" He asked handing him the beer. "Yeah, I'm on a buisness trip" The man took a sip of his drink slowly.

"What business are you in?"

"Im a laywer" The man smiled. The bartender nodded still curious about the young man. He looked like he was in his twenties and didn't really look like a laywer. Shrugging his shoulders the bartender began cleaning glasses. The young man finished his beer and handed the bartender his money. "Keep the change" He said smiling. The bartender took a step back catching a glimpse of two sharp fangs. The young man chuckled and stood up. Leaning over he took hold of the bartenders shirt and pulled him forward. "Tell me, do you believe in vampires" He asked huskily. The bartender shook his head fear flooding his eyes. The man grinned showing his fangs again. "You will" He chuckled placing his lips on the bartenders kneck.

He feasted on the bartender until there was no blood left in him. Once he was finished he stood slowly wiping his lips with his sleave. Walking out the door he flipped the "open" sign to "closed". He walked to his black camero and climbed in. Slipping his sunglasses off his face he looked into the rear veiw mirror. "I bet that was enough to last a couple days" He chuckled sliding his sunglasses back on. THat was his first real feast in weeks. He had been starving. Licking his lips he started the car and drove off into the night.
