It should have been like any other night in Jump City but the air hung heavy. The rain poured so hard you could barely see in front of you. The Titans were fighting Plasmus in an unfinished construction zone. Raven was levitating in a sitting position so she could project herself and put Plasmus to sleep. But Plasmus made a different move then usual he knocked Raven out of the air and sit her flying onto several metal rods that protruded from an unfinished building. The Titans screamed in horror. Beast Boy was the first one to reach her and assess the damage. The bars ripped through her rib cage and chest.

"Beast Boy please…I don't want to die" Raven whispered as she struggled to breathe, Beast Boy laid her head in his lap.

"Rae don't talk like that! Please don't talk like that." Beast Boy sobbed as he held her.

If the Titans were to try and move her they could make matters worse, and she could die even quicker. Every Titan gathered around their dying teammate.

"Beast Boy I'm so scared. I don't want to leave my family." Raven struggled to move her hand to grab Beast Boy's hand.

"Rae I'm right here. You're not going anywhere! Please stay with me!" Beast Boy pleaded.

"Look at the stars, Gar. They're awfully beautiful, just like her, huh Gar?" She was staring into the night sky with her eyelids slowly closing.

"They are beautiful tonight, just like her Rae." Beast Boy said trying to hold back his sobs, he knew she was too far gone now.

"Beast Boy I want you to know that I wouldn't take back anything. Tell he-" And the dark Titan took her last breath.

Beast Boy let out a scream as the rest of the Titans stared in horror at Raven, her white cloak soaked in blood and her long purple hair was strewn all around her. Cyborg sunk to his knees and Starfire buried her face into Robin's shoulder. The sky thundered and the rain turned even colder. But none of the Titans could feel the cold.

"I love you too Raven. Please come back to me. Please! Wake up! RAE WAKE UP!" Beast Boy screamed and tried shaking his fallen love.

"I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU RAE PLEASE!" Beast Boy screamed. She's gone, she really is gone…Beast Boy thought in despair.

"Beast Boy you gotta let her go. The ambulance is here." Cyborg said trying to pull away his best friend.

"I can't leave her! CY I WON'T LEAVE MY WIFE!" Beast Boy screamed.

"Beast Boy you have to go home. We'll take care of everything here." Robin said softly grabbing Beast Boy's shoulder.

Beast Boy could only shake his head in despair. He didn't have the strength to pull himself away from Raven. It felt like moving heaven and Earth to rip himself away from her. He got in Cyborg's car because he couldn't find it in himself to transform into an animal and fly home. The ride home was filled with heavy silence and the tower looked eerily quiet. They got into the main room.

"Dad where's mommy?" A small child with big green eyes and purple hair called from the couch.
