As the Hogwarts Express slipped away from Kings Cross Station, a red haired girl and a black haired boy with round glasses was seen walking up and down the train looking for an empty compartment away from their family, they loved them, but sometimes it just got a bit annoying being around them for a long stretch of time.

Rose was the one to spot the emptiest carriage on the whole train, it held only one person, a boy with white blonde hair, and he was looking out the window as the two eleven year olds entered.

"Can we sit here?" asked Rose, she was bold even though she was the one that everyone seemed to like, she knew just when to be bold and just when to be shy.

"Whatever." Came the boys reply he was still looking out the window as the train travelled further and further out of London and into the country towards Hogwarts up in Scotland.

Both Weasley and Potter thought it was very rude but decided to stay anyway. About halfway into the train ride Albus had finally gotten his bearings and decided to introduce himself.

"Hi, I'm Albus and this is my cousin Rose." Said Albus as he stretched his hand out for the boy to shake and hopefully getting the mysterious boy to tell them his name.

"Scorpius Malfoy." Came the reply wotter (a mix of Weasley and Potter, so much easier than having to say it over and over again) children had been waiting for.

They looked at him with shock but smiled none the less, and alas a friendship was born, for the rest of the train ride, they talked forever, getting to know each other and all.

Maybe a Malfoy and a Weasley can get along after all…
