Six years ago, a giant war raged across the Pokémon world. The Kanto, Hoenn and Kalos regions and their local governments allied against the Sinnoh, Johto and Unova regions in an all-out war. The origins of the war and the history of the world before it were totally destroyed. The ones who fought this war were trainers forced to fight for their regions as well as the Pokémon that they trained. The war spread so far and so wide and caused so much collateral damage that the infrastructure, economies, and governments of every region were completely destroyed and the human race was completely wiped out. Only a very few survivors were rumored to remain when peace finally came. The world soon became dominated by the powerful intelligent creatures that once were subservient to the dominant human species…Pokémon.
This story follows the journey of a young wild Cyndaquil whose parents and sibling were torn away from him as a result of this war as he grows up in a post-apocalyptic era of Pokémon.
