The room was empty, light streaming in from a hole in the ceiling, the little girl stepped in, wearing a white tutu, she smiled and span once in the center of the room taking it all in. She held out an arm uncurling her fingers, hand on her chest.
Taking small steps forward, bouncing on the tips of her toes, she began to spin, leaping outwards from it opening her arms eyes closed.
Raising her arms then lowering them again gracefully, poised on tip-toe, as if collecting energy, she tried to pirouette but only reached three quarters of the way round before stumbling, she bit at her lip in frustration pulling at the hair either side of her head,
walked once in a circle the kicked the ground into a spin, she folded her srms in and pressed her chin against her chest, her body tightening into a little ball, moving faster, continuously picking up speed. She began to straighten out her body, slowing down, when she stopped she opened her eyes. They glowed an eery blue. The light shut off, the only thing visible, two streams of blue light in the middle of the room. They began morphing into one, a metallic sound rather that of a pained groan resonated from it, the light snapped back on,
a white structure stood in the center made of metal. It began spinning raising and lowering the prongs protruding from the casing,
slowly. The eye stalk lowering itself down, it kept spinning. The not-quite-Dalek kept spinning round and around. The pained groans continued as it danced. Alone in this forgotten space, no one to miss it, to notice it's absence. Poor little girl.
