I'm sorry for the sadness of this story, but I was just reading Hello(Harry Potter), A Pirates Life(Gravity Falls), and A Pirates Death(Gravity Falls) by DracoMalfoy456 and they made me cry. Read Hello and A Pirates Death while listening to Better Place by Rachel Platten. It will make you cry. So I decided to do a sad fic based off the song We'll meet again. I needed to write something to get the sadness out of my system.

Mabel lay gasping on the forest floor. My twin. My other half. Dead. Dying. And it was all my fault.

"Dipper, come on!" She balanced on the edge of the roof.

She smiled up at me, always the optimistic one, even in death. Tears flowed down my face.

"Not now Mabel," I call out. She dances forward and snatches my book before returning to the edge of the roof.

"I'm s-so so sorry M-mabel," I choke out in between sobs. She reached up, trying to caress my face. Wincing when her snapped ribs poke her skin. Crying out in pain as more blood flows from her side.

I stand up. I'm angry. "Give it back Mabel!" I yell. "Come look at this!" she insists.

"It's okay Dipper," she manages to force out. "I'll see you again. I'll say hello to mom and dad for you." Tears are flowing down her face now as well. Mine fall onto her cheeks and mingle with her tears until you can't tell which are mine and which are hers.

"Don't talk like that Mabel," I try to protest. "You'll be fine."

I reach out for my book, but she holds it just out of my reach. In a fit of anger, I place my hands on her shoulders and shove.

Her blood stains the green grass. Squeezes my hand when another wave of pain runs through her.

"Keep smiling Dipper," she manages to say. "Smile for me. Smile through all of this chaos, just like you always do." I gently lift her into my arms, holding her tight. Breath barely passes her lips.

"Please don't leave me," I sob, clutching her broken body tightly to mine.

Her body tips over the edge and hangs suspended in the air for a moment, almost as if she was flying. Then she plummets to the ground. Her scream as she hits the ground. Her limbs bent and twisted. Blood streaming from her chest.

"We'll meet again Dipper," she forces out, using the last of her breath. "We'll meet again some sunny day." Slowly her body goes limp in my arms. When no life remains in her body and no breath passes her lips, I lift my head to the sky and scream. My twin is gone.
