Jason opened his eyes. There was a bright light. Then everything cleared. He sat up. He looked around. He had some sort of pad things stuck to him, plus some needles. The tubes and wires led to a pole with a bag full of liquid attached to it. His arm where the thing bit him was all stiched. He conformed he was in some kind of medical facility.
On the other side he saw Fluttershy asleep on a couch next to the bed he was on. At first he was startled by her presence since he didn't see, or hear her at first. Jason smiled. He felt a feeling he never felt before. He couldn't figure it out though.
He heard the door open. Twi walked in and when she saw him she gasped.
"Surprised?" Jason asked, smirking.
"well you were completely out for two days, they were fearing the worst." She responded. Jason nodded, then looked back at Fluttershy.
"How long has she been here?" Jason asked, still watching her. He felt like a pervert for this but like more of a pervert thinking she was freaking adorable sleeping. The calm, high pitched snoring was giving him a weird sense of secureity. He felt the feeling again, it was stronger.
"She was here when I told her you were here. She never left you." Twilight answered with a bit of a frown that turned to a smile. "In fact I was coming to see if she needed anything. And to check on you of course."
Jason laughed. The loud noise woke Fluttershy up.
She screamed in that adorable high pitch voice. "THE BLUEBERRIES ARE IN THE KITCHEN! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" she yelled and started shivering while covering her eyes. She stopped shivering and opened her eyes. Jason and Twi were staring. Jason was chuckling a little. She started blushing. "um... sorry, I was dreaming."
At this point Jason started laughing like a dying hyena. Fluttershy also started laughing.
Some new pony burst in the room wearing a hat with a plus sign on it, meaning she was a nurse or something.
"I heard the sounds of a dying hyena!" she yelled.
Jason fell off the hospital bed laughing, detaching all the stickers and ripping out all the needles from his body. The room filed with that sound of liflessness. The long, screaming, beep.
Jason walked out of the hospital with his friends in tow. He opened the door. It felt like his first ever breath of fresh air. He started down the road.
He was being stared at and he knew it. Did he give a crap? No. He felt at home.
"We should take the train back to Ponyville." Twilight said. "Applejack has a surprise you may like."
Jason followed them since they knew where they were going. He got on the train and walked back to the rear car. He sat and watched the landscape go by.
